I loved the RV spot. It was wonderful to be near horses and hear the peacocks and roosters.
Evening sky was beautiful. The host was very attentive.

This camp has two grassy sites. There are shady spots to pitch your tent in. The host are friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for things to do while we were in the area (Rathtrevor Beach Park at low tide!). Don’t miss the fruit and vegetable stand a mile down the road in Coombs. There is a sink and plenty of water. There is also a shower and a tiny, tippy toilet in a little tent. The shower wasn’t working, so they were nice enough to let us use theirs. There are at least two dogs who will come and see you, one very friendly and rambunctious. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

I loved tent camping on Janie’s farm. There was so much for the kids to do, the space was lovely, Janie and her partner were extremely responsive and kind. Their outdoor shower was an awesome bonus surprise. Great location to the Horn lake caves, parksville beach and rathstrevor beach and more! Highly recommend .

I loved that this campsite was spacious and grass was so fluffy. Having animals as neighbours was fantastic! And just the small things like the pod swing, sink, and pop up shower made the experience one step above many of the other places we've stayed at.

Janie made us feel very comfortable on her property. We had a very peaceful and relaxed stay with everything we needed - an added bonus was all the furry friends! Would highly recommend Janie’s place :)

The fire pit area was large, open, and had great, soft grass for tenting. The kids enjoyed seeing the horses, donkey, and the young pup, who also seemed to enjoy chasing and being chased. We will definitely be back!

The campsite is spacious and well maintained — a cozy and safe area overall. The hosts and their farm animals were all very friendly. The hot shower was such a relief after a long day of travel, and we had a great night’s rest. Highly recommend!

Lovely grassy site with trees for shade. Perfectly located near Coombs with easy access to many activities, hikes, rivers and lakes. The driveway is narrow and a bit curvy so heed the RV size recommendation as getting in and turning around is a bit challenging. All in all, lovely hosts, wonderful location and great stay.

Nice shade in the afternoon, flat ground good for tent or van/camper. Nice location close to centre of Coombs market area.
Nice as a base location for a couple of nights. Close to Parksville.

Peaceful stay on farm with animals and gracious hosts! We were welcomed and made to feel at home…. So conveniently located to many waterfalls, hiking, biking and Coombs Old Country Market! Such a great stay, thanks to Janie and Nelson!

Our stay on the farm was wonderful!…. Peaceful surroundings and gracious hosts who shared info on area. Conveniently located by several hikes, waterfalls and the Coombs Country Market (Goats on Roof). Loved our time here.

Loved the space at Murphy's Farm, its a beautiful space to relax and there is even a fancy outdoor washroom and hot water shower available to cleanse off the day's travels. Our hosts were so welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Thank you for a lovely stay

The location was perfect for exploring the island. The camp spot was lovely with the donkey and horses being an extra bonus! We loved the gobbling turkey noises too as animal lovers. Our dogs loved playing with the puppy host dog and the hot shower made our mornings. You couldn’t ask for nicer hosts who gave us lots of local tips. We can’t wait to go back!

This was a really fun place to camp for the night! There’s a sink and tap for washing up. The compost toilet and shower are in a little tent which was simple to use.

Ohh, this spot is a gem! Jannie and Nelson are super, super, super welcoming, very friendly and nice people. Their adorable pups, horses, cats and donkeys are just the cherry on top for this amazing place. Would recommend 15/0!

Lovely campsite. Lovely hosts. It was very quiet and calm and yet very near Coombs and Qualicum Beach. I would recommend it and i would definitely stay here again.

Lovely remote spot and idyllic for a peaceful camp. It has the feeling of a small farm with the horses, donkey and turkeys next door. Setting is beautiful and quiet. You have access to a basic toilet and shower that works well. The hosts were extremely friendly and offered many suggestions of where to visit.
