Lakeside Cabin at The Brewery
Great relaxing weekend
Had a great relaxing weekend with friends at this fun rustic cabin in a beautiful location on Ootsa lake. Enjoyed going to sleep with a wood fire and cooking breakfast on a large outdoor grill. Also enjoyed a few beers from the nearby brewery.

Ursa Minor, a piece of heaven!
If you love breweries, camping, and wilderness, this place is for you! My group rode our adventure bikes on the backroads from Vanderhoof to get to Ursa Minor brewery. We had the place pretty much to ourselves and Nathan let us chose any campsite we wished.... so we camped right on the lake. Nathan was kind enough to feed us, but when I say feed us... we are talking about next level smoked burgers with fresh greens from the garden, organic beef, and a homemade special sauce that was to die for. We also had wings as an appy. They were smoked as well with a homemade smoked Chilli sauce. We asked to buy some but he isnt sellingit... yet! At this point I thought I'd try the smoked salmon chowder as well and it was also amazing. We came for the beer 🍺 though, and that never disappoints. The beers are delicious and Nathan has a wide variety of beers to please any palete. Don"t think about it, just go. It's an experience you won't soon forget.

Lakeside Cabin at The Brewery
Unique location and amazing hosts
This place is a gem. Our one-night stay was far too brief but we had such a fun time at this amazing cabin and brewery. The hosts are amazing people and an awesome source of knowledge about the area - their welcome on our arrival was one of the best parts of our whole trip. Food at the brewery was tasty and the beer was lovely. The lakefront cabin was comfortable, clean and cozy. It is well-built, lovingly maintained and perfectly decorated. Sleeping with the blinds open gives you an incredible view of the northern BC night sky alongside an incredible sunrise. We can't wait to visit again!
