Just a 5-minute stroll from stunning Idabel Lake and only 35 minutes from Kelowna, this peaceful forest escape is surrounded by ancient old growth Fir trees and epic mountain air. The west-facing site serves up fiery sunsets, quiet nights, and total nature immersion. You’ll find a picnic table, fire pit, and a brand-new outhouse just a 2-minute walk from your campsite—clean, private, and ready when you are. Looking for adventure? Idabel Lake is your playground. Spend your days kayaking, SUP boarding, canoeing, fishing, or just floating with your toes in the water. Bring your gear and your best chill. Oh—and yes, there’s high-speed Wi-Fi included. But maybe save the TikToks for later… nature is showing off out here. 😊 Pets are welcome! Dogs can roam freely on your site but must be leashed when on our road or in the community. Firewood? Covered. There’s a good stash at the site and plenty more to gather nearby. (If a fire ban is in effect, propane fire pits are permitted.) This spot is perfect for tents or small to medium RVs, with a trailer turnaround at the end of the driveway. Bring your own water and power, and soak up a quiet, nature-filled escape. No partiers, please—just forest stillness, fresh air, and the sound of your soul exhaling.

Tucked into our 11 private acres on Idabel Mountain, this solo flat tent/rv site is ideal for one car, two people, and one lucky dog. Just a 5-minute stroll from the sparkling waters of Idabel Lake and only 35 minutes from Kelowna, it’s a peaceful, west-facing perch surrounded by towering old-growth firs and pines. You’ll find a picnic table, fire pit, and a brand-new outhouse just a short 2-minute walk from camp - clean, private, and always stocked. Swim, paddleboard, kayak, fish, float… or do nothing at all but breathe deep and listen to the trees. Nights are for stargazing, crackling fires, and the sound of nothing but your heartbeat and the forest. Yes, there’s high-speed Wi-Fi. But why would you use it? 😉 (It’s there if you must.) Pets are welcome. Your pup can explore freely on your site, but please leash them when out on the road and around our community. And of course please pick up after them. Firewood? Already waiting for you. And there’s more to gather nearby. (During fire bans, propane fire pits are OK.) Amazing little spot! Quick walk to the beach. Nice view. Very private. Jan was nice enough to give us kindling, water and some newspaper to start the fire. Would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful time camping at Jan's property. He was very accomodating with supplying wood, water and clear directions to the property. He was available for questions but provided privacy as well. Great view, great people. Will definitely be back!

What a wonderful experience camping at Jan and Ryan's property! They were incredibly responsive providing very clear directions, having the site stocked with wood and water and were available for questions or concerns but also very respectful of space. They were very accomadting about some challenges at the border and the location is absolutely perfect! Would 100%stay again!
