While on a Salt Spring vacation, stay in a yurt on a private, lush, forested acreage. Located across the road from crystal-clear Weston Lake, it’s perfect for swimming and just minutes from Stowel Lake Farm, Salt Spring Cheese Company, and Ruckle Provincial Park, which features over 600 hectares of forest and a network of trails considered among the best in the Gulf Islands. Saltspring Yurt Vacation is less than 20 minutes from the town of Ganges and a wide range of services, shops, and restaurants. Up to four guests can sleep comfortably in the 24-foot Pacific yurt, featuring two queen beds — one on the main floor and one in a loft above a full bathroom with a clawfoot tub. The living area includes a couch and TV with Netflix and Disney+. There is also a private outdoor yard and an outdoor shower with hot water. The kitchen includes a mini fridge, induction stovetop, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, dishes, and wine glasses. The yurt is insulated and heated by a wood stove or electric heaters.Hummingbird Yurt is situated on a two acre, forested and quiet property on the South end of Salt Spring Island. Across the street from Weston Lake, 5 minute walk to public access for swimming, paddleboarding, and fishing.
