This is a peaceful, basic camping spot near a lovely beach. The farm tour is very worth while! Stephen’s passion and dedication is inspiring.

Pro's: very private, lots of tree cover, a lovely dappled light. Host communicated promptly, and was helpful. Cons: the picnic table is a child's size picnic table, which does make a difference! The pit toilet is quite a distance, down a trail, past a house and camper. I actually found it by driving there. (Driving there was a suggestion from the host) Note: there is a hole dug for a pit toilet, adjacent to the site, and when that is done, big improvement! I can't comment on the wifi availabily, as I didn't ask for it. Super peaceful, I felt safe and enjoyed the sounds of the night birds. Thank you for sharing your pretty peice of Gabriolla Island.

Hidden Pond Forest Camping

A quaint, peaceful location with welcoming hosts. You have the place to yourself. Nestled under the Arbutus and Maple trees, dappled light is plenty. Awake to the birds, go to sleep with a frog serenade. Close to trails, ocean, and beaches. No water, bring your own and toilet is far away although plans are for one near camp.
