Haabanagan Lake is a 1/4 section of land on the banks of the Beaton Valley that is home to the Haab Family, a business, and a wedding venue. There are ponds and bridges, a lake with a canoe, pastures with horses and dairy cow, trails and ravines, a field, an apiary, gardens, a sauna, flushing toilet outhouses, and a gorgeous view of the valley. In the summer we love growing fresh veggies and fruits for whoever happens to be hanging out at the pond to enjoy. We are beekeepers, fun makers, beach bums, aviators, Jesus lovers, and project starters! Haabanagan Lake is a peaceful oasis just a few km off the Alaska Hwy.

The Haabanagan Lake beach site is grass.. situated just off the sand beach with a picnic table and two grass cabanas. The sunsets are a highlight here in this estuary and the trailhead for a peaceful walk around the lake is just off to the right. This is is an open area so the skies are big and the breeze off the water is refreshing. Big enough to hold a couple rvs if needed. There are 30 amp hookups at this site and fire pit on the beach. Guests will have access to communal flushing toilets just a 2 minute walk away. Potable water is available at the house location. If it has been very rainy or is going to rain an excess amount this campsite is rendered unusable.

Flag Fair site is a gravelled area that is also used for parking during the work week. A picnic table sits in the middle of a large grassy area. The whole area is overshadowed by the beautiful canadian flag. This site works well for Class A rigs as well as small rigs and is the most stable in wet weather. It's just a short walk past the house to get to the gardens and swimming pond.. or venture even further out to the scenic lookout by the cross. You can even take a walk around the lake and listen to the birds. As far as power goes, there is a 30 amp hookup located on the west side of the power shed.
