Sneak away to a private glamping site perfect for two. Our site is set on a ridge with peekaboo views of sparkling water below. Tucked into a corner of our quiet acreage you will find the retreat from the hustle and bustle you have been daydreaming about. The tent sits on a deck overlooking old growth beauty of the Sunshine Coast. Arbutus, fir and shore pine cast shadows on the tent and provide home and shelter for birds and deer. Bathe in the outdoor shower, dine al fresco and sleep the most peaceful sleep you've slept in months. A short walk away is quiet little ocean beach, a seven minutes drive is the village of Maderia Park with a grocery store, liquor store and some of the finest dining on the Sunshine Coast. Participate in some of the best outdoor fun: ocean and lake swimming, paddle boarding, salt and fresh water fishing, hiking, mountain biking, even scuba diving. We chose this peaceful corner of the world to live in for all it has to offer and invite you to experience it too.Beautiful Bell tent in private treed setting with views of the water. Kitchen with camp stove, shower, composting toilet, queen size bed (bedding provided), picnic table, cooler for food storage, all kitchen utensils and flatware, pots and pans. This site is perched on a bluff and not suitable for children.

Warm and wonderful!
The space is private, quiet and beautiful. Tamara warmly greeted me on arrival and set me up with everything I needed to know. She and her husband have set up the site with everything you could possibly need. It’s really well put together. The bed was warm and comfortable. The access to hot and cold water was fantastic. I also enjoyed the visits from Jimmy and Ginger ( the dogs). It was a wonderful stay.

Perfect Glamping Spot
The space was quiet, private, and a little slice of heaven. The tent was spacious and clean and the bed was really comfortable. The outdoor shower with warm water was so nice to freshen up in and the area had lots of great mossy patches to throw down a yoga mat and suntan. A few minutes walk down the road and you’re at the beach. The kitchen had everything you’d need to make pretty much any meal you’d want camping. Great space that we plan to return to one day. Tamara and Brad were excellent hosts.

Arbutus Bluff Bell Tent
Fantastic experience in the glamping tent. Tamara and Brad have put such thought into creating a serene and magical oasis of calm. There’s plenty of privacy as you’re far from their house; the tent and bed was incredibly comfy with high quality sheets and I loved having the little out door kitchen - I only had basis needs and just used it for a little coffee or breakfast in the mornings. At night I could hear the sea on the beach nearby, and despite some unexpected rain I even enjoyed the outdoor shower. I could happily keep this place a secret for myself and look forward to returning soon!

Wonderful experience
This was our first ever experience with HipCamp and it was definitely a great one. Brad and Tamara were great hosts! The whole thing was so well thought out and beautifully made, it really felt like a hotel in the woods. Our favorite part was the suprise company by their lovely dogs Ginger and Jimmy! We recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet forest getaway next to the ocean.
