This host has cameras on guests the entire visit. Even with this very creepy recording of children changing and similar, he lied about what was done in the camp and what we had paid for and did not receive. We have been camping for the last 18 days, from primitive camping through glamping, and our stuff smells like campfire-he accused us of smoking in the location. We paid for wood he did not provide-used our own, put it out with the high powered hose, then he claimed we left it running, and that we didnt pay for wood. He yelled at us as soon as our 14yo who is 5’10 (a foot taller than me) went outside alone, that he needed to be accompanied by an adult-its ridiculous. He is currently online harrassing me. We left an hour ago. Additionally, he has codes on everything, including the toilet, which is inside the gared community. We even washed the dishes we used. This is not ok. We have stayed with hipcamps since 2016, although we have had to start new accts due to lost password. We have stayed at least 10 days just this past month. Allowing a host to record at all times and in all areas is not ok.

Great peaceful little place stay!

We needed a place for that same night and most places are either booked up or don't want to bother with same day bookings. We were appreciative to fine Mark's land so grabbed it up. Great directions to get there and to access the property via the secure gate. It was dark when we arrived and we could not figure out where our campsite was, so we messaged Mark and he came outside and helped up despite it being late. We were the only guests which was cool...

So lovely! A peaceful wooded patch of land with a big pond. Twinkle lights all over the trees and bushes. Mark will tell you all about his landscaping and is very responsive to messages.

Mark's land is excellent, and Mark was an incredibly supportive host when I landed there with a broken down vehicle. He gave me a ride into town and gave me ice from his personal freezer for my cooler. I love the communal area on the property - I made some friends the first night. The lighting at night and the pond are wonderful, and the bathroom is well-stocked and well-kept. Every time I needed something, Mark was very responsive. The bird sounds in the morning are absolutely wonderful, and I enjoyed wandering around the property <3

Tight highway access WARNING

Warning, If your rig including truck is over 30’ you should be aware that from gate to highway may have you sticking out in the road while opening the gate. Combine this with a narrow access drive and narrow gate and we snagged the trim off our travel trailer on the gate coming in. Coming out is easier. Better suited for shorter rigs and vans. Host and site was nice.

Mark was very friendly and helpful. His property was beautiful and interesting. The pond was really pretty and all the lights at night were really cool looking. The bathroom was very clean. Marks property was very clean, and I would definitely recommend staying here

Peaceful, lovely, private camp spot

I got in after dark and contacted Mark to lead me in. Don't hesitate if you need help. He responded promptly and was welcoming. Very private, quiet and lovely piece of property. Pond, lights, nice gathering spots with seating and fire pits. Heated bathroom and shower!!! Very nice for cold weather campers. Would visit again if I pass this way in the future. May be a stay in the pond side cabin. Thank you Mark!

Mark was a great host and made me feel welcome the first day of the stay! He allowed me to enter the property later than usual because of my delayed arrival! Made sure to take the time to see me the next morning and have a great chat! Absolutely loved the property and the view! If I’m ever back in town I will definitely be back!

Beautiful place from what I could see of it! I came in at night and left in the dark so a super quick trip, but it was a convenient location to the highway. It was a bit challenging to find the address - I drove by a couple of times. And I wasn’t entirely sure where the site was from the instructions or map, but if I had come in the daylight, it would’ve been obvious. Mark was great and communicative so I was super appreciative of that! Bathroom was great. Felt safe as a solo female traveler. For my one quick overnight, it was great and I have no doubt it would be awesome for a longer stay!!

Mark’s property is incredible, to put simply. It was easily accessible and beautifully maintained. I stayed for a quick night on my cross country road trip and will stay in the future if passing through again. There was plenty of space to walk my dog through the property and we especially appreciated the motion activated lights in many of the darker areas. The bathroom was convenient, well stocked, and warm, which was lovely after going for a chilly morning walk. Mark was communicative and very flexible. Thank you for a great visit!

Awesome campground! A bit difficult to locate at night but the camp host is very helpful and attentive. Plenty of light and the bathroom / shower is very nice. You can tell the owner really cares about the place and the upkeep is excellent.

An adorable property, plenty of room at the sites to spread out. I was the only one there so I parked closer to the bathhouse. The bathhouse was great, large shower. Just a beautiful place to overnight!
