Rustic Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub
We booked this cabin through HipCamp and were left with rather mixed impressions. The cabin itself is very cozy, styled like a hunting lodge, with a true “retro” atmosphere. Inside everything is simple but tasteful — it really feels like a little corner of nature where you can disconnect from everyday life. We genuinely enjoyed this authenticity and sense of peace.
Unfortunately, at the very end of our stay, a situation occurred that spoiled the overall impression. As we were getting ready to leave, the hosts let out their large dog. The animal behaved quite aggressively, which felt unsafe — especially since we had our 4-month-old baby with us. We really appreciated the atmosphere of this place, but it would be important for the hosts to consider this issue with pets, as guest safety matters a lot.
Overall, the place has great potential for a wonderful stay, and we sincerely hope this aspect will be addressed.

We stayed here for just one night, but it was everything we needed and more. The cabin was rustic, cozy, and full of charm — the kind of place that instantly makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. The wood interiors, warm lighting, and quiet surroundings made it feel like a true escape from the noise of everyday life.
Even though it was a short stay, it felt special. Perfect for a night of disconnecting and reconnecting. Wish we had more time!
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple, peaceful retreat in nature.

Rustic Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub
Nick and Anna were wonderful, they greeted us when we arrived. Max (the dog) was super chill, which was great for our dog who can be a bit of a nut. 😂
We came across a few issues, which Anna and Nick were able to tend to immediately, which was very appreciated. The only reason I don’t give 100% review is because of a reaction to the hot tub, which affected my sensitive areas. 😉🤣
Looking at the previous reviews, cooking was never an issue for us, as we cooked on the bbq and attached burner. Nick and Anna have made this place to be super comfortable by adding logs, fences and camouflaged material to add more privacy. As an avid camper, it was no different than being at a public campground; it was better.

Rustic Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub
The cabin was exactly as expected. The bed was sooo comfy. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and very clean. My Frenchie and I had a very relaxing time.

Rustic Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub
The cabin premises are cramped .. a tall prospective guest (taller than 6' 2") would have trouble navigating .. also the cooking facilities are limited .. if one wanted to prepare a full meal it'd be tricky (we didn't need to so it worked out) .. aside from that the space is as advertised, elements work + Anna + her family are responsive hosts. Bragg Creek as a town has a lot of creative energy + a good sense of stewarding the environment well.

Shanti Yurt with Hot Tub
We 4 ladies spent 3 nights at this beautiful place. It is exactly as the pictures shown plus a lot more! Anna or host, answered all our queries and catered to our needs. On our arrival, Sophie was there to greet us and gave a tour of the place, she was great! Anna has thought of everything from shampoo, hair dryer, condiments, dishwasher and the cherry on top was the luxurious robes, plush towels and sleepers. The extra towels in the bathroom were appreciated! The hot tub, fire table, fire pit were our favorite things to come home to after our hikes/walks. We definitely will come back and highly recommend this place to others.

When we first pulled up we thought well this is pretty sweet other then it's so close to the owners home but honestly we didn't hear a single person nor see a single person they respected are privacy 100 percent, they kept their windows closed and made us very comfortable:):) The cabin omg the cabin the cutest little thing I ever did see complete with a record player, records...video cassette tapes, games you name it had it:):) I was so pleased can't wait until I go back next week and in November looking forward to renting the Mongolian hut...these people have done a fantastic job with their property and truly from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU you for sharing such beauty with us..our souls needed that come complete with a hot tub and fire pit please go see for yourselves:):):)

Wow! what a spectacular place! The pictures of this glamping rental were so lovely but it’s even nicer in person. We had a group of 4 and stayed for two nights. The accommodations were definitely cozy for 4 but worked very well for us. The luxury amenities were so appreciated - from the high end hot tub, to the fancy espresso machine - you will want for nothing. The private washroom and kitchenette were also fantastic. So nice to head out for the weekend and not have to bring too much. This place really has it all! So highly recommended - we will definitely be back!

Overall the pictures showed were the same in person. But was very deceiving not showing that there house was right in front of us ..
we could hear there children and were abunch of windows facing toward us. Their dog would bark a lot of the time. We never got to meet the host got a tour from there child.. I’f you’re looking to camp in a backyard this would be for you. We were looking for something more private and intimate and this wasn’t it. With that being said they rent out a yurt that’s further in the bush with the fire and hot tub behind the yurt for more privacy it looked beautiful and I would recommend booking that over the rustic cabin.

Absolutely fantastic time spent in the Shanti Yurt! Couldn’t recommend more. We went there for my birthday and it was perfect. Anna had thought of everything. Yurt was spacious and had both heating and air conditioning. Beds were both super comfy, decor was lovely. Barbecue was huge, hot tub amazing. Robes, slippers and towels provided. Peaceful and relaxing. We could have easily stayed for a lot longer :)

Loved everything about Anna’s Yurt. It is such a serene beautiful place. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit area. Inside the Yurt is so relaxing very nice done; beds very comfortable. Don’t let the restroom being away from Yurt keep you from staying. They have done an excellent job with the lighting getting there and back at night. I would highly recommend.

Excellent communication from Anna and the Shanti Yurt was great! A unique and relaxing experience. All amenities needed, clean, and the outdoor space was welcoming and relaxing. The hosts were kind and welcoming. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to the hosts :)

Loved my stay here this weekend. Anna and her family were very helpful making sure I had everything I needed. I really enjoyed the lack of phone service (they did have WiFi if you want though), wood burning fireplace, hot tub and VHS selection! It is a cozy, quiet place to get away, clear your mind and relax that also has some character and history. If you're looking for something totally secluded from other people just keep in mind this cabin is next to their main property. It didn't bother me at all though. The town of Bragg Creek is a quaint place to visit and it's five minutes away! I hope that this cabin remains reasonably priced in the future, as a single person on a budget I appreciated that I could afford to get away by myself and still get to enjoy something like a hot tub for a weekend. I will be back!
