Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Here's a handy site to go glamping. If you are into fishing or boating, there are suitable lakes within a few miles. Places to quad or hike are also available. At Spruce Hill Recreation Area, there are quiet alcoves for your camper, van, or tent to be set up. An outhouse is available, but bring a flashlight.
Pets, and of course, children, are welcome. Leashes for your dogs are recommended.
If you bring a non-motorized boat, beautiful Swan Lake is just 12 miles away and is perfect for fishing or paddling. In the mood for a snack? Stop by the nearby Crooked Creek Store and treat yourself to one of its wildly popular donuts.
