Nature's West
Back to nature, in my 30’ trailer.
This place is amazing, so everyone should stay away. :) The land has been intelligently worked on to encourage all of natures balance. So if you want to get away from the bustle, and wind down. This is the place. Mark is a great host also.

Dog's first camping trip
This was a great spot for our dog's first camping trip! He can be reactive and is generally anxious so finding somewhere to camp with him has been difficult, but Nature's West was the perfect place for us. It's totally secluded and quiet, with lots to explore. At night we saw an owl hunting in the field across the pond, and a ton of bats flying around, it was very cool! Our dog loved the pond, however he picked up a couple small boards with nails sticking out. It was only 2 and we didn't really see where they were coming from, but just be aware of that if you or your pups are enjoying the pond. Overall, we had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

Nature's West
Our third visit!
This was our third stay at Mark’s place - that should tell you everything you need to know! Instructions are excellent, the camping area itself is well taken care of, a great little outhouse (who can say that???), a fun property to explore, lots of evidence of wild critters to examine, and the pond is fun to watch the bugs putter about. We appreciate the space, the ability to let our pets explore with us off-leash and the quiet that comes with the privacy. If you have a clear night, make time for some stargazing. I wish we could keep this place a secret, but it really is a lovely & wild retreat that should be appreciated by those who want a slice of wilderness to enjoy.

Idyllic camp with the dogs!
Fantastic property. Lots of room for the dogs to run and play and felt secure yet secluded in the space. Grass is kept short and manicured which is a big bonus from the usual dirt/gravel sites at other campsites. Buy the wood bundle as it allows you to use at leisure and is an incredible deal from city prices. Leave your axe and roasting sticks at home as Mark has both on site. Outhouse is arguably the best I’ve seen, it was clean and didn’t smell at all, complete with a nice light for the evening time. Highly recommend a canopy or sun shade as we anticipated a chance to setup in the trees if desired but it is thick brush and you will likely spend your time exposed - no great spots for a hammock near site! I caution you to not use the gps coordinates on the app as they are not quite accurate, follow Mark’s directions when he sends them through and they will take you right there. Service is spotty at best, plan for no internet. Enjoy this space and leave no trace!

Nature's West
Blown away by this beautiful property! it even has a small trailer with benches in it. Can sit in there if it rains or store your food here to keep away from wild life or bears if everyone in your group only has tents (like us). Tons of firewood, the outhouse even has a light! I don’t even want to tell people about this land because it is just that great. Mark was very kind and responded quickly, directions were very helpful in getting there (don’t even worry about the coordinates on this app, just wait for mark to send you the directions) Thank you mark!
