We really loved our time on Dana's land. I took my son and my dog out there for a night and we enjoyed the fire, field, stars at night and beautiful morning sunrise. The pit toilet was super clean and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had a great time tenting at the Ranch! So many beautiful animals and a lovely friendly family. The dogs are so kind and all the animals looked so happy and healthy. Would 10/10 recommend!

We enjoyed our time on the farm the large dogs on the farm were very friendly and seeing all the other animals was a treat for our daughter. We espasially liked the solitude we found away from the city

Loved our two nights at Merlin Ranch. Perfect location away from all the hustle and bustle of Banff and Calgary. Had a good time hanging out with the very friendly dogs and hosts around the fire. Great place to stay.

Dana and Paul were brilliant hosts - the site was lovely, and the animals (dogs and horses) were really friendly! We also were lucky to see a double rainbow when we were there!

The description of Merlin Ranch was just as it said. We had the best time. The camp site was clean, quiet and loved the visit from the horse’s. Will be going back for sure and would highly recommend.

We loved staying at Dana’s. it was beautiful, and PEACEFUL. It was great to have a covered eating area; be next to the horses; and, have a fresh water source. We went to the Calgary stampede during the days and chilled out at Dana’s in between. It’s a bit of a drive to do that, but it worked out really well for us.

The place is very spacious. If you're planning to have a big group of friends & family camping trip, this place will be perfect. The owners' dogs will welcome you and they are very friendly. Firewood is provided which is a bonus. The pit washroom was clean.

Absolutely gorgeous stay at Merlin Ranch! So quiet and peaceful. We loved meeting all the animals and watching the cows in the distance. We will be back for sure!

Loved our stay. Directions were easy to follow. Everything was as expected. Would come back. If you’re lucky the puppers will come meet you. Fire was easy to start.

Overall the trip was amazing. Dana and Paul were super nice and easy-going. They welcomed us as we arrived and gave us permission to explore their ranch. They even gave us a tour and let us pet the animals. Outside of that, the camping experience was really great; we had the privacy that we wanted with the safety of being on the ranch. Definitely will be returning and would recommend!

Friendly hosts including the furry ones! The stars were amazing, lots of wood and a very clean outhouse. The extra chairs and the shelter came in handy. Thanks for sharing!

This is the place to go if you need to disconnect from the fast-paced world and reconnect with nature, family, or friends. It's a lovely, peaceful camping. We were greeted by friendly dogs. The children had a great time playing with the animals and their son. Dana and her family greeted us warmly as we entered their personal space. (I appreciate it.) We are looking forward to returning next summer!

Paul and Dana were helpful and welcoming, and Merlin Ranch is a perfect spot for anyone looking for privacy in a beautiful location. Bonus if you like dogs - one of them actually stayed right by our trailer the whole night. Would Definitely recommend - 5*!

Nice quiet area just out of town near some wicked crown land and a lake you can fish at. If you have horses or just looking for a quick dip out of the city this place has it. Dana and her family are all very nice!

Great experience, kids said best camping ever. Loved playing with dogs and other animals.
An access road to a camp site was grassy and rough, but manageable with a minivan.
