Jen and her family are lovely people. The property is beautiful and set up to cater to the camper providing all amenities one would need. I felt right at home the whole time. By far the best hipcamp booking I've had yet. Thanks Jen!

A great spot for an unexpected stay! They took wonderful care of us, the facilities including the indoor shared area were so awesome, like a three way cross between a hostel, a campground, and staying at your neighbours place. We felt safe and more than satisfied and the price was great! Would stay again for sure.

Stayed here for 8nights/9 days and we will definitely come back! Such a quiet place to camp. Host Jen is kind and always response whenever we need anything. I soooooo love their farm eggs!! It's camping at the same time feel home because they have everything! Free wifi, washer/dryer, flush washroom with free shower (they even have shampoo/conditioner). They have a big kitchen (full kitchen supplies/appliances that you can use), living area with a big tv where you can watch anytime for free (they have netflix,etc). Literally everything for free in the common area is what they callled. We met some campers that were there when we were there and they were all very nice. The lady that cleans the place (I totally forgot her name), she is very nice! She always check on us if we are okay or if we need anything and she definitely love my babies! Big bonus if you love trains!

Really lovely cosy cabin

Really lovely cosy cabin with the cutest dog host Jackson. Our hosts were friendly and helpful but left us to enjoy the peace of the cabin. Just a short drive into Red Deer for supplies and food and we were set for a relaxing two night stay. The shared kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and the cabin itself had a really comfortable bed and a TV with Netflix.

The Host was amazing and super kind. We loved we could use the common area, kitchen, and games! The washroom with the shower stood out for its cleanness. This is a great place for a group camp. One thing people need to know is that the train passes close by.

Hippy Haven Pioneer

We stayed for 2 nights and I would say we had a great time and wonderful stay. The host were very accomodating and nice. The campground and the facility is very clean. We loved the green grass and the atmosphere around us. It is so peaceful. Our last night was a memorable one because we saw Aurora Borealis over our campsite. It was an extraordinary experience. It added surreal to our camping trip. Our best camping trip ever. I highly recommend this campground. 10/10

We had an incredible stay at Hippy Haven, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful amenities provided, especially the fully equipped kitchen area. Unlike many other campsites where you have to bring all your own gear, Hippy Haven had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen utensils were plentiful and in excellent condition, making meal preparation a breeze. The comfort room was another highlight of our stay. It was spotless, modern, and had all the necessary supplies, which is a rare find at campsites. The facilities were so well-maintained that it felt more like a cozy cabin than a traditional campsite. What really stood out was the overall convenience and attention to detail. The campsite owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Whether you're an experienced camper or new to the outdoors, Hippy Haven makes it easy to relax and enjoy nature without the usual hassles. We couldn’t recommend Hippy Haven more highly! It's the perfect destination for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors with all the comforts of home.

The hippy haven is a great place to camp out. I had a terrific time. The gals were super friendly and helpful with everything. Plus having a bunkhouse with a sink, fridge, laundry services etc made for a massive added convenience. Will definitely be back thanks so much for the hospitality!

Everything you could wish for!

Wow what a wonderful place to stay! I was pleasantly surprised that the campsite also came with access to a common house that had every amenity you could wish for. After a near week on the road I got the chance to do laundry, take a shower, and use a kitchen! Tracy and her mother were the most gracious hosts and so kind and friendly. I find myself hoping life takes me to this sliver of Alberta again just so I can go back!

Wonderful hospitality. Came here with a group of my friends and we had an absolute blast coming back to this site every night. Tracy was incredible and kind, making sure we got everything we need. Cozy campsites with excellent common area facilities (TV, couch, kitchen, play area for kids, dining area, full washroom+shower, books, games). Bring plenty of your own water because the water there, although potable, is far from palatable. Train is loud but comes seldom enough that it's not a huge bother (at least in cabin and common area). Host is friendly and understanding!

This was the best camp ground I've ever been too and I've been to alot of the regular ones but Ive never booked with hipcamp before. Totally different more personal experience. So much privacy and the hosts are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We got there at sundown for tent camping and right away was offered extension cords and a light for our area. Never seen so many blue jays in my life as i did here. Absolutely beautiful property to walk around and a gorgeous walking tail just a few mins down the road. Highly recommend Hippy Haven.

Hippy Haven Puma

We had an excellent stay at Happy Haven. Our group booked both the cabin and Puma camper and had ample room. Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful yard, birds and other animals we saw. The common area was a perfect space to hang out and well stocked with anything we needed. Our group also enjoyed an evening sitting by the fire in the yard. 10/10. Jen truly has a haven to offer and would recommend her and her place to anyone

Jen and Shane are amazing hosts. Others spoke of their wonderful hospitality, warmth and kindness, but to experience it, made us feel like family visiting who are so sorry to leave, and can’t wait to return. Sites are quite private surrounding a lovely play area for kids with blow up pool, trampoline, toys, games etc. Huge firewood for $15.00 is enough for 2 or 3 nights of fire. The common area is a great blessing…has a gas stove, cast iron pots, 2 coffee makers, 2 fridges/freezers, dishes, cutlery & pots, indoor shower & bathroom, desk, board games & books. Comfy recliners for relaxing in front of a big flat screen TV with Netflix etc, esp on rainy days if tenting. Fast WiFi. Bring headphones for sleeping. We can’t thank you both enough for your hospitality and kindness. Can’t wait to return. Awesome hosts!! Thanks again!!
