We planned a last minute trip to visit Waterton for the 1st time. We obviously couldn’t find camping in town, and our hunting for a tent site had us stumble on Flint Rock Ranch.
We didn’t know what to expect, but ventured forward with an open mind & curiosity. Our experience far exceeded any expectations we could have had!
Patrick is an amazing Host!! We easily made friends with him :)
We immediately felt welcome and like we we’re at home on the ranch. The view from the ranch looking over the valley and the mountains was so picturesque, it could have been a painting.
The cookhouse was amazing, and we were able to keep our food chilled or frozen as needed, with an industrial gas stove range and oven, BBQ, plenty of counter space and room to clean dishes. There is also pots and pans, dishware and utensils you can use.
There’s a big fire pit and plenty of places for little propane fueled fires around the ranch.
The hot shower and flushing toilets spoiled us and made us grateful as well. At night the stars put on a show that was breathtaking.
We got an opportunity to sneak peak the cabins and we both agreed we would rent one and recommend friends and family. They are well equipped and adorable. I can’t say enough good things about our experience.
Even though it was an hour drive each way to Waterton, it was completely worth it and made our trip better than it would have been had we stayed in town at Waterton, without a doubt.
