Seeking a moment away from it all? Love being off grid while still having a roof and a bed? Seek no more! Intimate cabin down by a creek on the Athabasca River. This property is one of a kind as it sits on private land right on the river. The cabin includes a queen sized bed, a love seat, a table and two chairs, a hutch with a single propane burner and a propane heater. There's a nice little porch for watching the wildlife go by. A close walk will take you to an enchanting Fern Valley with ferns growing over your head! Wild strawberries and raspberries grow around you and you can fish in the creek or river. Amenities: bed with sheets, pillows, blankets, kettle, dishes, cutlery, glasses, mugs, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and bottled drinking water, Propane heating, a doorless, odorless outhouse with toilet paper included, a firepit with a grill and BBQ! Bring your food and you're ready to relax....

      This is a gorgeous, secluded spot surrounded by trees and steps away from a brook and the beautiful Athabasca River. And there's a stunning valley of ferns just a minute's walk from behind the cabin. My dog and I enjoyed our time there immensely! The cabin itself is well-built and cozy. The mattress is soft but good, and Corinne was very welcoming and helpful. Make sure you have everything you need when you get there, because the cell service is extremely spotty, so driving out may be the only option if you forgot something necessary. Corinne supplied firewood and water, but I would bring an extra bottle of water for doing dishes outside next time, and it would also be great to have some counter space outside to do dishes. Otherwise, this is a perfect setup! I hope to return very soon.

      Yea his was the perfect spot for our anniversary trip. We will be back for sure. Nothing at all to complain about here. We brought our portable shower with us and a camp stove. We had everything we could need. It was so private and our dogs had a great time as well. Perfect seclusion. It’s been my favourite site so far. I can’t wait to go back

      Just what the doctor ordered!

      We needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and this little cabin, tucked away in the back of the woods by a babbling brook and just a stone’s throw from the river, was JUST what the doctor ordered. It was perfect. Serene. Rejuvenating. And a place we will soon not forget. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the little slice of Heaven.

      What a pleasant surprise Corinne's place was. If you are looking for a rustic, peaceful, beautiful and isolated place to stay, this is it. The cabin is so cute and comfortable and Corinne made sure we had everything we needed. The hike through Fern Valley was beautiful. The property with a creek running through it is beautiful and peaceful. Great place for our two big dogs with no one else around for miles. We are looking forward to returning.
