Peaceful escape to the country where you can pick fruit, watch bats, have a drink and lunch at the cafe, peruse the store, grab ice cream, participate in their brisket dinner, pizza night, or pancake breakfast. Or just walk around the property admiring the flowers, watching ground squirrels, woodpeckers, bluebirds, and golden finches. Staff of the orchard are friendly and owner Dave is knowledgeable and happy to share his wisdom. They book land on a few different apps so you may have neighbours but it’s still secluded.

I’m a bit hesitant to give a great review, afraid that more people will discover this hidden gem. I really want this to be our little secret. We’re big campers, and this was definitely one of the best camping trips we’ve ever had. Watching the sunset over the haskap orchard was breathtaking, and then the bluebirds put on an incredible song and dance show.
Our little 2-year-old absolutely loved it too!

Site 1 - D&A Gardens
This campsite was everything that we expected and more. The location within the orchard is beautiful and private and the owners are very knowledgeable and welcoming. We enjoyed all that the property had to offer and it did not disappoint. DNA gardens has plenty to keep busy while also maintaining a relaxed atmosphere- we relaxed under the trees and tried their charcuterie board and sampled the various wines that they make on site while our kids played in the play area, we enjoyed exploring their bat walk and nature trail, and went to their brisket dinner in their beautiful green house. My kids are still raving about how delish the dinner was! If we were local we would absolutely be visiting again, for now we will just have to savour the treats we purchased at the little farm store.

We enjoyed our stay at DNA gardens, the orchard is beautifully and the people are kind and helpful.
We really enjoyed their Bootlegged Brisket dinner and bought several goodies from their store.
The only thing to keep in mind is there is a gas plant across the road from where we camped and a gas generator that runs 24/7. I was a bit concerned that we’d have to deal with the background noise for two days, however as Dave mentioned, you only really hear it if the wind is blowing in your general direction.
We’ll definitely recommend DNA gardens to our friends.

Had an amazing trip. Dave and Arden are amazing hosts and have a really beautiful property. Super private camping area and some cute things to do at their Orchard. Will be back again!
