Camping on Gordon's land was awesome, his family has been there for 120 years I believe he said and he is committed to keeping the land the way it is which is a great sentiment. The campgrounds were very tidy and there was lots of trails to walk and things to see, as well as a boat launch nearby. Gordon was also available for to talk to if there was anything you might need. Overall Gordon was a great host and very attentive, and the campgrounds were awesome. Would definitely camp here again.

This is our second summer visiting and we love it even more. Gordon does a great job of improving the property with new trails and he’s very accommodating. It’s always a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend.

Me and my 2 young daughters stayed on site 1 at Aspen Grove in mid August. Gordon was a fantastic host, very welcoming and his information on the area and what to look out for was really helpful and much appreciated! The site was perfect - very clean and just a short walk to one of the many beaches. We will definitely be back!!!

Great campsite with good privacy between sites. The owner responded to messages and requests fast. The nature trail system is well maintained. We recommend lake access at Third Point. There are nice private sandy patches there.

We absolutely loved our stay at Aspen Grove! The campsites were so quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of space for the kids to play and for our dog, and it really felt like we could just relax and enjoy being outdoors. One of our favourite parts was hearing the coyotes singing at night, such a cool experience and something the kids will definitely remember! We also loved the little pathways leading down toward the lake lookout. The kids spent so much time exploring and even caught a frog (which of course we released 🐸). There was an abundance of firewood available, which was a huge bonus, and we really appreciated having a serviced outhouse nearby. It was the perfect little family camping getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing camping experience on this property! It was peaceful, quiet, and truly felt like we were camping in the middle of a forest, while still feeling very safe and comfortable. One of the best parts was the easy access to the lake, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The property was well maintained, and our host, Gordon was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful camping getaway!

This was my first camping trip in my adult years and honestly I loved every moment of being here! It was so beautiful and peaceful, we enjoyed the beautiful views and forest! Already booked to go back in a few weeks! Had two boys with me this trip and they loved collecting the fallen sticks/dead tree! They had the time of their lives!! (I may have too) The host was wonderful and there if we needed anything!! 10/10 camping trip!

We had a great time at our campsite, very private and peaceful, there were 2 other campsites but you couldn’t hear them. Quick walk to a swimming lake. Lots of places to go for a hike with beautiful landscape , We will definitely go back. Thanks for sharing your space with us. 😄

Stayed One night at site 3. Very beautiful spot. Gordon was on site when we arrived and delivered us our firewood. Location is very close to the water and also theres beautiful trails to explore. The mosquitoes were awful but to be expected. Definitely recommend

This was a beautiful experience! Thanks so much to Gordon and Crystal (hopefully I spelled it correctly)! They were attentive, the space was well maintained and the location is unbeatable. It was so inspiring to wake up to so many different birds singing their beautiful songs. I left the tarp off my tent and woke up with the forest canopy up above me. Divine. I was also very grateful I could bring my dog, he loved it! This location is only a couple minutes From the beach and still feels secluded and private. One note for visitors: Bring lots of mosquito spray! And repellent for your pets too! They’re bad everywhere in central Alberta right now. I ran out of spray by my third night and decided to sleep at home. That’s to be expected this time of year though and it was my own fault for not bringing more! Altogether a great experience, I will be back! Thank you

Private, quiet and great access

What a fantastic spot! Our two nights allowed us to get some much needed R&R, while we walked the trails and shoreline. Our dog especially loved it, especially getting to bound through the water. I hope Gordon and his family are able to keep this close for years to come.

I had such a fantastic stay with my husband at this campsite. The host Gord was so accommodating and friendly. I had a bit of a mix up in bookings on my end and he still came down to the campsite late at night to help us with our stay. I'll absolutely be going back 😁

Gordon had our wood ready for us when we got there, as well as a propane fire pit if needed. There was lots of dead fall to chop up for fire wood. It was quiet and clean and a close walk to the beach!

If you are looking for a perfect nature getaway, I highly recommend booking a stay here! My boyfriend and I stayed at Site 2 (Tall Tree) and had a very good time. The site itself is very spacious with plenty of room to relax under the trees, and the location is unbeatable with the lake being only a short two-minute walk away. Gordon was a wonderful host! Super helpful, welcoming, and quick to respond to messages. We had a wonderful, relaxing trip and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind!
