Come enjoy our simple and affordable drifter’s Lodging in Cooper Landing! Kenai River Float-n-Fish Drift Shack is a perfect place to set up base camp for fishing the Upper Kenai River. We are 2 miles from the Cooper Landing boat launch at the outlet of Kenai Lake, 5 miles from Sportsman’s Boat Launch and the Russian River Ferry, and only 8 miles from Jim’s landing for the days you want to chase rainbow trout and Dolly Varden in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. We are located just off the Sterling Highway and next to a small private campground. We have plenty of room to park your boat or raft!
There are also many wonderful local activities for the non-angler. We are close to hiking and restaurants. We can point you in a good direction for Kenai Lake sailing and kayak tours, horseback riding, gold panning, fly-outs, stand-up paddleboarding, and Kenai River scenic floats. And if you are an angler, but visiting from afar, we will be glad to hook you up with the best Kenai River fishing guides in Cooper Landing. This rental is for the whole Drift Shack. Drift Shack is a dry cabin that sleeps 4, with two twin beds in #1 and a full bed in #2. There is an outhouse. We are pet friendly and smokers are welcome (smoking outside only).
There is no TV and no wifi. Unplug, go fishing, and have a deep conversation. You won’t even miss it!
