We offer primitive site where guests can experience wilderness tent camping. The campsite is unimproved and ungraded; some spots may be sloped. Campers should be comfortable with setting up on natural terrain and practice leave no trace principles. Fire ring is provided and fires are permitted inside designated fire rings and are subject to current local fire restrictions and burn bans. Please, no pets.

At the foot of Bankhead National Forest, this farm on Wilderness Parkway is only a few miles from the Bankhead's most notable hikes. Experience camping without the need to pack overnight gear and experience all that the area has to offer. This listing includes the following amenities. -Bed Linens and Blankets for both beds -Fire Pit with ONE bundle of firewood included -Charcoal Grill -Camping heater and propane (1/2 tank/night) -access to camp shower -access to barn amenities The space The campsite is an all-weather tent in a half-acre field. There are no other tents or sites in close proximity. The farm is visible from this tent. This site features a memory foam queen bed, and a full size futon. This tent is 1/4 mile from the pond, barn, and bath house, guests can walk to the barn or use vehicles if you wish to use the indoor plumbing or kitchen. This tent, will offer hardly any road noise, mostly the sounds of nature. The tent does not have power, but there are solar lights that will kick on at night and last until early morning. Additional camp lanterns are included at no additional charge. There is a private patio area with a fire pit. One bundle of firewood is included with your stay, but additional Firewood is available to purchase. If you wish to collect any wood or sticks on the property, please do so. This will help our clean-up efforts and save you some money as well! We do strictly ask that you do not bring firewood from another location. we do not want to risk spreading any diseases to the existing ecosystem that aren't already here. There are beautiful hemlock trees on the property, and these trees are part of a very delicate ecosystem in this area. These trees are at risk, and we take this very seriously. There is a bath house with power and a hot shower located 1/4 mile from this site. Most guests prefer to drive to the barn and bath house. A composting toilet is provided near the tent for convenience. If you prefer indoor plumbing, you are welcome to use the restroom located inside the barn or bathhouse. please be aware while this is GLAMPING, it is still a somewhat PRIMITIVE camping experience. the barn kitchen is available for use as well for cooking and storing food. Again, be aware that this is a shared space. Please label your items with a marker provided on the fridge if you wish to use the fridge. There is a propane heater provided inside of the tent. The heaters are connected to 25lb propane tanks, and use of half of the tank is included in your stay. Please do not let the heater run unattended for longer than a few minutes (meaning do not leave the heater on while hiking or leaving the campsite). We are a safe space for any guest regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. No one is discriminated against here as long as they are respectful to house rules, and other guests. Other things to note Please, no pets.

The space The canvas bell tent boasts a spacious 20ft width and features two cozy queen size beds with memory foam mattresses, ensuring a comfortable and restful night's sleep. Relax and unwind around the inviting fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. For convenience, we provide a porta potty and camping sink in a nearby outhouse, eliminating the need to venture far from your temporary outdoor oasis. To keep you warm during cooler nights, a portable propane heater is available. we allow 12lb of propane use per night to keep you cozy and warm. Additionally, we have a charging station for all your electronic devices. As our valued guest, you'll have access to shared spaces that include a fully-equipped, beautifully finished barn complete with a full kitchen. Feel free to prepare meals and share stories with other guests, creating unforgettable memories together. Experience pure whimsy in our unique bath house, where a charming tub awaits for a refreshing bath or shower. Our location offers easy access to some of the best hikes in the Bankhead National Forest. Smoking is not allowed inside the unit or any of the buildings. Please respect the tranquility of the farm and the privacy of other guests. Please take the time to make yourself familiar with the map in the listing so that you can easily find your tent, the barn, and the bath house. We are working on signs to help direct you to the correct tent as there are others on the property, but for now all we have is the map. One more tent, the secluded tent, is in close proximity to this one. probably 100yards, but trees block the view. The farm is visible from this tent. This tent is 1/4 mile from the pond, barn, and bath house, and isn't your best choice if you want to be close to indoor plumbing and the farm. This tent, will offer a little road noise, but it's still tolerable. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to choose the secluded tent located in the back of the property. The tent does not have power, but there are solar lights that will kick on at night and last until early morning. Additional camp lanterns are included at no additional charge. There is a private patio area with a fire pit. Fire wood is available to purchase. If you wish to collect any wood or sticks on the property, please do so. Guest access The barn and bath house are a shared space where guests have access to the restroom and the kitchen. Utensils and cookware is available as well, please wash after use. Label items accordingly as to not mix them with other guests a black marker is provided for labeling. feel free to say hello to our farm animals but be aware that guests are not permitted to access the animals without supervision. Farm tours are available upon request at $25/person. There is not easy access to the barn from this tent, so driving to the barn would probably be your preferred mode of transportation. Other things to note If you wish to add on any amenities such as firewood or propane heat, please give us a 24 hour notice. Pets are restricted to less than 35 pounds and must be leashed at all times. Proof of rabies vaccine is required before booking. Anyone who brings an animal into the site, and cannot show proof of rabies vaccine, will be asked to leave immediately and will forfeit their rental. For Biosecurity measures, pets are only allowed at designated pet areas. Due to our location in the forest, we must use the protection of a livestock guardian on our farm to protect from predators. Unfortunately, our guardian dog may see your pet as a threat. While it is our priority to keep our guardian contained with the livestock, we cannot always trust the fencing as it does fail at times. We cannot stress enough the importance of keeping your eyes on your pet at all times. If you choose to bring your pet, you do so at your own risk. Our guardian is extremely friendly and will not be a threat to humans, and is typically contained with the livestock, but sometimes can get loose.

Private primitive campsite in the woods with a fire ring and trash can. Bath house near the entrance to the campground is a nice amenity. The host, Andrea, was friendly and helped us find our site. Would stay here again

We loved are stay here. Pretty tent and very good setup even a small bathroom nere the tent which was very nice. Loved the barn area for campers with the kitchen and porch sitting area with TV was very cool. And the outhouse with shower was so nice. Also felt very safe. The Animals were so friendly my favorite was the sweet donkey. My partner loved the cats and dogs. Loved are stay here will definitely be visiting again.

Loved camping at Sarah's farms in the forest tent. Got escorted from the showers to the tent by a sweet black and white cat who spent the night. Watch out for ticks lol.

This is a beautiful farm setting with friendly animals and lush vegetation. Sites are spaced with enough distance between to provide privacy. Andrea is super friendly, I felt like I was visiting a friend.

Great campsite, nice and secluded. They provide you with a lot of stuff in the tent and the beds are comfortable. All in all I would recommend it to anyone. You can get to it by car but if it rains a lot you're better off in a truck.

This is our third time staying at Sipsey Creek Farm, as it's a good half way point in our travels between Georgia and Arkansas. My son loves petting the animals (esp the 3 cats!) and Andra is super friendly and accommodating.

I had an absolutely fantastic camping experience at Sipsy Creek Farm! The tent was perfect—clean, cozy, and set up with such care. Andrea, the owner, was amazing—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The farm itself is gorgeous, with beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax and just enjoy the moment. It was such a fun and beautiful weekend, and I left feeling completely recharged. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and restful escape in nature!

We had an amazing time at Sipsey Creek Farm! Andrea is the most gracious host and really takes care of her guests! We camped on the primitive site and it was very private and cozy. The indoor kitchen and barn came in handy as some weather moved through and we were able to stay safe and dry. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a safe, quaint camping trip with all the Bankhead trails close by. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay, Andrea was amazing and has a beautiful little farm to go along with it. The kitchen and bath house were a great addition. Bankhead and multiple hiking trails are in close distantance so that you can go on any adventure you want.

I loved the farm and all of its animals. The bathhouse and hot shower were a great amenity, as was the barn with full kitchen and pleasant hangout porch area. Andrea had a map of Bankhead that I got to use and found helpful. It was a perfect place to stay for me to explore Bankhead.

We just left this amazing place! This was my daughter and I first time camping, and I'm not the camping type. It was perfect for us! Plenty to do with a 3 year old. Everything was so clean and organized. Also, eveything is exactly like the pictures. Andrea gave suggestions for hiking and even allowed us to sample a few vegetables from her garden. She is an amazing host! This camping experience was so great that I would actually go camping again, but only at this place. If you are a family looking for a place to camp, this is the perfect spot.

Andrea’s farm is the perfect spot to have a base camp in-between hikes in Bankhead National Forest. We loved spending time with her sweet animals and refueled with the candies and honey she had for sale.

Andrea is super nice, flexible and knowledgeable about all things farm (and business ventures). She was super generous to offer us eggs, honey, soap and her own freeze dried candy treats. The animals were amazing and SO FRIENDLY, bathroom was a beauty and just overall an amazing find. Love what she's doing here and I know you'll love it too 🚌✌️

The farm was an amazing way for me to ease my sister’s family into camping. Andrea was so helpful, the farm was idyllic. We explored the grounds, met the really cool animals and loved our stay! I’ve stayed at a lot of different camps, this one is worth returning to!

Andrea had a well planned out- private - natural setting with spaces spread out and a good mix of camping, clamping and primitive sites. She arranged for a very secluded primitive site as I requested and took great personal attention to my request. Highly recommend- I’ll be going back often now- this will be the only place I’ll stay.
