This is a large RV park right on the water. RV parks aren’t my jam for my campervan but the tent camping area in the back was nice and semi-private with good distance. Level spots right on the water.

Great spot, the primitive sights felt very secluded, and they were right up on the water. the park was extremely safe and vibrant, and the staff was super nice and helpful. the views were amazing and we wil be back !!!!!

Beautiful campsite with a lot of sites. Make sure to ask for a site with a water view - as this isn’t guaranteed with your booking. Nice people and facilities. Lots of long term campers and families.
The address on hipcamp is incorrect. It is NOT 1000 Greensport - that address is actually private property.

Beautiful property with nice amenities, but our site wasn’t waters edge, or even water view, and it didn’t have WiFi or even good cell signal, which was pretty disappointing since it was advertised as having those things.

Lakeside Tent Camping Hideaway
When searching for a place to camp I searched tent camping, 2 people and 1 pet. This place came up. When we got to the gate the employee advised us that they do not allow dogs in the tent area because they don’t pick up their dog’s poop. But because this was our first time staying, they’d allow it. I respect not allowing dogs in certain areas. It was just the fact that it was advertised as a place that is dog friendly. I reached out to “the host, Stephanie E.”, requesting some information about up coming fishing tournaments and us kayaking. I got no response. I ended up reaching out to the marina itself and got help, great help and quickly! The only other thing is that my trip continued to show “is coming up” until we left.
The area is used my locals as beach goers, I guess as a daily option, so depending on when you go it might be pretty busy.
The grounds are well maintained and the bathrooms and showers are very clean. The owner of the property was very friendly and introduced himself to us while there. Overall a good experience. A majority of the campers were RV, like A LOT.

Stunning Water's Edge Camping
We had a great view of the water and mountain from our site. We loved letting our dog run and socialize in the fenced-in dog park. And the showers were fantastic. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I had a lovely stay and I wish I could have stayed longer! I was greeted when I arrived and everyone was so helpful, helping me find my camp site and get wood and a fire pit. The camp sites are right along the river and it is so peaceful and beautiful! Highly recommend this place.

Very beautiful place to camp at, we stayed around fall time so we had the full camp site to ourselves. Very clean, lots of accommodations, we will be coming back for sure.

Absolutely loved it here and wish we could have stayed longer. We did tent camping and it was so peaceful and beautiful, many sites to camp and private. Just behind the tent sites was a wonderfully maintained RV park with very clean bath houses, pools, and play areas for kids. We came up for 1 night as a couple and want to come back soon for 2 nights with our kids, one of the nicest spots we’ve found to camp.

This RV community was beautiful. There are many sites along the lake with picturesque views. There are plenty of activities on the grounds and the staff could not have been more friendly. I highly recommend staying here!

We planned a few days here for our anniversary. This resort is absolutely gorgeous! Manicured grounds and top notch facilities! Brittany was awesome and the other staff took pride in their work. It was obvious everyone loved working here! The general store was quaint and had all the necessities! We will absolutely be back often!

Stunning Water's Edge Camping
We were looking for a halfway point to our destination and found this gem. The view from our site was amazing. My kid enjoyed the pool and doing the scavenger bingo. The bath house had plenty of room and amazing water pressure. Would definitely stay again.

We love this campground. We had a perfect spot at 209. The people are super friendly and helpful. I loved seeing the petting area and the quaint county store. There were plenty of dog bag poop stations so no excuse not picking up after your fur babies. My only recommendation would be on the hiking trail. I followed the red dots but sadly got to an area that had nothing posted. After going thru several clearings I had to retrace my tracks. The first part of the trail was wonderful! We don’t have small children but if we did, this park is very kid friendly with a jumping pillow, playground, and two swimming pools. The campsites themselves are level with table and fire ring. Plenty of space! We will come back. Thank you so much.

Stephanie is very accommodating. We booked last minute for 2 nights and we were welcomed right away. The facilities are clean. It was really nice having a spot by the lake. Highly recommended.

We had such an exceptional experience! Me and my wife cannot compliment this stay enough! Upon arrival everything was well explained and we were led to our campsite where we had multiple options to choose from. We even had a fire pit brought to us the homemade cookies were also a plus! We recommend this place to anyone in the area or traveling through! We were able to camp right on the Coosa river and it was so beautiful! Best experience on the app so far!

We love this place. The pretty zoo is so cute. My kids loved the jump pillow. Unfortunately, the pools were open but there was still plenty to do. We played Gaga ball, fed the animals, went hiking on the trails, played on the “beach” and even rented a paddle boat. There was a lot to do and everyone there was so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again!
