Wildcat Creek Farm was a pretty, farm camping experience along a river and down a quiet backcountry road 5 min from Lawrenceburg, Ky. Our host could not have been nicer and we met his beautiful baby goats! Went into town for a really yummy meal at the Bluegrass Sabor (based on a rec from our excellent host John!) Thank you John!

This was the best hipcamp I’ve ever stayed at. SUCH friendly hosts, beautiful river, great location close to Lex and down the street from Wild Turkey, and best of all, adorable animals! They have miniature goats, miniature donkeys, miniature mules, miniature horses, cats and a peacock! All so friendly and really made the stay. Nothing like waking up to get cuddles from a miniature mule. Also John was super communicative and very kind.

John was super friendly. We were only there for one night (a pitstop on our way home) and had to leave quite early. it was a really nice quiet stay. One thing I would recommend is to inquire about where the toilet and potable water are when you arrive. We forgot to do so, and that was a little inconvenient, but we didn't ask and should have.

Nice and secluded. The owners are extremely nice people. The farm animals are so adorable. Especially the little goats!! I recommend camping away from the sandy area because the sand will take over your life. Lol.
