Majestic Mountain Cave site is at the center of the property and has its own private waterfall. This is a family friendly site with a one of a kind stay in a private cave. It is set up with an 11x13 tent platform with picnic table, benches and fire ring. We have added a 250 gallon rain water collection tank for your water needs. We cannot guarantee the amount of water you will have at any point in the year; but you are welcome to use as needed. You would need to filter the water with devices such as a carbon filter straw before drinking it. You also have the water from the waterfall that runs all year long. You can drive right up to this camp site with a 4 wheel drive car. A 2-wheel drive vehicle will make it most of the way and then there would be a short walk to the site. Once you arrive at the site, there is a short incline to get down to the cave (see pics). This site would not be wheel chair accessible like the other sites. The pictures do not do this site service. The cave shines as if it were covered in gold and the temperature is always cooler in there. You will love the peace you find here.

Would 100% recommend; will be back!
The cave was so neat! It was a perfect spot for camping. We ended up having to cut our trip short by 1 day because of the rain and the vehicle we drove. The tent area was dry even in the rain, but our vehicle did get stuck on the way out. The owner came to our rescue and was very nice about it! We will def. be back in the summer for sure!
Camping in a cave!
Amazing secluded little gem. Had a blast under the roof of the cave. Great grandma smutz watched over us as we spent two nights under her watch. Would highly recommend, worth the trip down.
Quiet, low key camping.
Great site, if you looking for a quiet spot. I was looking for a site where grandma wasn't tooling around on the golf cart and this is it. If you want amenities this is not your site, if you want to be left alone in the woods and only have what you carry in this is it. If you have a car or low ground clearance you will need to pack your stuff up and down hill to the cave. With a 4x4 you can get very close to the cave. Lots of wood around for a fire, where they cut the road in. (Bring a bow saw or axe). You may have to set an alarm as the sun rises much later in the cave, and sets earlier. The water fall in the cave had slowed to a trickle, but we brought water with us so no problem. I would definitely use this location again. Hopefully as they continue to develop the site they can keep the spots feeling remote and isolated.
We absolutely loved staying at this Hipcamp! Although it was a little difficult to find at first, it was so worth it to be tucked away in an actual cave! This location is so private and you really feel like you are in the middle of nature. We especially loved the bonfire set up! Although it was rainy the night we stayed, we stayed completely dry due to the overhang from the cave! The only thing to look out for is there is quite a bit of a decline going into the cave/incline coming up out of the cave, so be prepared and wear some shoes with good traction! The camp hosts were very responsive and helpful as well. Such a unique stay! HIGHLY recommend and would love to come back!
I booked a site because I was passing through the area but ended up not staying due to travel delays.
The host was welcoming and communicated very well through my travels. Looks like a beautiful property and I can’t wait to come back and try again. Thank you!
