Nice weekend getaway
Great campground! Loved the feel of seclusion and openness. We rented the vineyard view site and it was very spacious for our group and felt like it was just us. Nice amenities like the bathhouse. Would definitely return!
Always love our time at Hidden Ridge. Vineyard view is a great campsite. The area is flat, lots of great space for a tent. We love the addition of the bathrooms across from Burnt Rock. NOTHING like some peace and quiet!
Thinking about next trip already
We had such a great time with our crew at this campsite and campground. The campsite was HUGE. The outdoor shower was an added bonus, however there was also an indoor shower for anyone who preferred it. It was great having lake access, we didn’t have a need to leave the campsite for the whole weekend. Hiking trails were beautiful (when they say difficult terrain, believe them! Especially if it has rained). We will definitely be back to check out one of the concert weekends!
Lovely place to camp, and I enjoyed the relative privacy. Nice hiking trails with access to the lake. I appreciated the firewood at the site available ($1/piece, honor system). I didn’t use any amenities other than the portojohn so $50 is a little pricey, but for those who take advantage of the lodge and community building it’s definitely a fair price. Looking forward to camping here again someday!
Beautiful picturesque site!
Beautiful picturesque site. I hesitate to write a review for fear that it will become booked every time i want to visit! This is a Must Stay campsite. I stayed at vineyard view #1 and it was as private, spacious and breathtaking as it was relaxing and serene. Hidden Ridge has everything...walking trails, beautiful views, restroom amenities. Its great for families or solo campers. I arrived after dark and got a little turned around becausei missed the sign. Its family owned and the dad rescued me 🤗 and took me to my site.
Thank you to John & Ginger (and Ginger's dad) what an awesome place, I will be back!!
