Away at Greenhill is a serene escape into the wilderness, conveniently located not too far from the city. We had plenty of room at Open Sky to set up multiple tents and a few pop up trailers (teardrops) as well, making Away at Greenhill the perfect location for our annual "All Girls" weekend. There are several trails to explore if you enjoy hiking and the rustic old cabin is a unique focal point. Our most basic creature comforts were met with one of the nicest out houses I've ever experienced. I know we'll be back!

Beautiful location, amazing hosts, checked out their local recommendations and we had a blast! Stayed here while we visited the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter and it was a great location. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again if we swing through this part of the country!

This was a great place to camp & I would recommend it to all. My dogs & I had a lovely time: me playing w/them & them hunting moles. Teri, the Hostess, was welcoming, friendly & very helpful & handled the whole mole situation like a champ! The property has a lot to offer & lots of space to explore. Check this place out, people, you won't regret it!

Drive heading to barn. My pups enjoying the open field.Just a random, peaceful picture. Log cabin w/lots of history & fun to explore.

What an amazing space. Teri was a kind and generous host creating a great experience for our family. My wife wants to make sure I call out all the little details like fresh flowers in the unparalleled outhouse. I think I barely got the tent up before my wife started planning pour next visit. Clean. Quiet. Spacious with lots of room to explore including the cabin. Amazing host. We will be back soon. Thank you Teri!!!

Lots of space around the barn for kids to run and play. Quiet evening with a couple of owls nearbyTrails and property were perfectly maintained. Log cabin was so cool to explore

Let me start off by saying that this was my first camping trip. My wife is a novice and has wanted to camp her whole life. Away at Green Hill is the perfect place to gain experience and confidence. Teri was a great host and greeted us upon arrive and made us feel very comfortable. The property is beautiful and well maintained. You seem like the world is far far away but it very accessible. I would highly recommend novice and experienced campers visiting this beautiful property. We were well welcomed!

Had a great stay at “Away at Green Hill”!

Teri and her husband were super accommodating to my later than expected arrival, and the property was beautiful. Got to see a couple shooting stars while enjoying the peace and quiet one night. A nice touch was the oil lanterns they have around in spots to help you orient yourself in the dark for finding the restroom and such. Highly recommend!
