Pitch your tent anywhere in the 170 acres.  We also have organized campsites that you can use. Hiking, horse camping, fishing, wildlife observing and viewing beautiful vistas  are just a few of the options you can enjoy while staying at Horse Creek Adventures.

Horse Creek is set up to get away from it all. But we realize some guests want to be able to enjoy the surrounding area, away from the ranch. When you book your stay, we will be asking how you want to camp. Those who want to stay on the property, can pitch their tent anywhere on the land.  For those who want to do some sight seeing, we will put you closer to the entrance but you can still enjoy all of the  170 acres.

Special Notes:

Fishing: This is a special opportunity to camp by a premier fishing hole. We only allow one party per night at 35.00 dollars per tent.

Horse owners : You can rent one or more of our tent sites,  keeping your horse with you in a nearby corral .

Horse Rentals:  For children, a short ride accompanied by our wranglers in our arena or for adults, a two hour guided trail ride beginning with an introduction to trail riding. Contact us for more details

Dog owners:  We are pet friendly at Horse Creek Adventures but it does require that dog owners work with us.  At any given time there are horses and dogs sharing the same space.  Tell us up front that you are bringing a dog and tell us about its size and breed.  Our rule of thumb is small dogs are welcome. Large dogs are on a case by case basis. This is especially important for dogs that are trained to protect their owners.  When dogs are here they must be kept on a leash, "no exceptions"

Less than an hour from Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska.  St. Joseph and Kansas City, Missouri are about an hour and half.  Close attractions include- Lewis & Clark Center, Sidney Rodeo in early August, Underground railroad, Arbor Lodge...just to name a few.

Great hosts and location. They offer two camp site you can have your vehicle at. One adjacent to parking area and the other tucked away in the trees with nice view of the ridge. I was fortunate to have the latter! I Enjoyed hiking the trails, stars, and quiet setting. There is a west-facing cabin that looks like it would be wonderful to visit in the winter.

Amazing hosts, and amazing land! Tons of trails to walk and sights to see. I love fishing at their pond as well, there are definitely some big fish to catch there. Jack is incredibly accommodating and helpful. This was my second time coming out here, and will definitely come back for a third.

Great weekend tent camping! We chose to be up on the hill for the view and it was lovely. Probably less privacy than some of the other spots, just because the gator path runs right by, and some folks walk that way back and forth to their cars. Beautiful area to visit and really nice staff!

We loved tent camping on Lona’s property. We were traveling through and needed a place to set up for the night. Beautiful property with firefly’s twinkling all around. Multiple tent site options were offered but due to us getting in late and leaving early we chose to tent camp near the RV sites which were all set up with tables and fire rings. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay! Beautiful scenery in every direction. We stayed at campsite 12 which was an easy walk to the pond. We brought our kayaks and caught over 30 fish. Highly recommend, we’re already planning our next trip!
