Located right off the highway about 30 minutes west of Des Moines. You can hear some highway noise at night, but not too noisy. The cabin is located on a campground, so there are RVs and tents sharing the grounds with you. The fire pit and some chairs are to the side of the cabin and more private. Decent if you need a place to crash on a long road trip, as we did. Basic accommodations, but very expensive for what you get.
Everything you need stay.
Super nice and funrnished cabin with everything you’d need for a weekend stay. Towels, blankets, dishes, cutlery, grill and if you want to be inside there is direct tv, surround sound and air conditioning. They cabin was very clean and check in was super easy, to the left side of your cabin you have your own fire pit l, a picnic table and a couple chairs. However on your right side, what seems like 10 feet away you’ll have a camper and family set up in between, the stairs going to the loft are extremely steep and there is like no head room between the beds and ceiling, but all around the cabin was great and I’ll probably stay there again. I think if they just eliminated the bed frame and box springs and placed the mattresses on the floor it would make the loft beds much better.
