New in 2021 we are adding a cabin perched on a hilltop amongst the oak trees. When I raised bison, this was one of their favorite places to cool off and take a nice break from the summer sun. Nearby you can find rivers to kayak, lakes to swim at, and stables to ride horses. Above it all, you'll be welcomed with true Hoosier Hospitality!

Great for hiking!
We really enjoyed our stay at Walnut Valley Realm. The host sent a trail map ahead of time that was easy to follow. The trails themselves were so beautiful and secluded. The electric sites are close to a somewhat well-traveled road, so if you don’t need power I would recommend the more secluded spots. I would stay here again!
The host Brian was great! He was very welcoming and helpful. It was a good experience for us as first time campers. I look forward to doing it again. We had site 12 which was a good little hideaway. My only critique would be that each site should be more prominently marked. Other than that, I would definitely do it again.
Great place to stay.
I only stayed one overnight, but I would definitely recommend it. The site was mowed and clean, the host was helpful, and everything was as described. My dog and I went for a couple mile walk, and I’m sure I only saw a small part of the property.
Totally private, totally primitive.
Site 10 - The Cul de Sac, was everything I had hoped. Totally private, totally remote, totally primitive. If you want to feel like you’re alone deep in the woods, that’s the site you want. Note the pit toilets are a good ten minute hike. There’s no picnic table, but some stumps that work just fine as surfaces or seats. Really just a fire ring in a clearing in the woods, with no other campsites nearby. Pretty great!
More new trails to explore!
Terrific, as ever. We found even more new places to explore on horseback this time. It seems that every time we go there's more to investigate! Great time.
Perfect simple little getaway 😍
Perfect little spot next to corn fields and the woods, with a sunset and stargazing for hours! Brian is a great host, super helpful and communicative. We wish we had more time here, but will definitely be back if we‘re ever in Indiana again!
