Explore the creek (the Stinking Fork) by the road, or the many cliffs and cave areas around the ridgeline, there was once a hotel here in 1890, see if you can find the carved limestone steps in the creek. On foot you can explore the entire property, in the north field past the house there's a pond for fishing. Come up to the same field in the early morning or late evening for views of wildlife including deer, turkey, fox, raccoons, birds of all types and small mammals.

Stayed here over Labor Day weekend with my wife and 2 friends. We had an absolute blast. The property owners were on site working on the property and very friendly and helpful. They even let us borrow a couple Folding chairs because we forgot ours. The property is big and very private which was great for letting our dogs run around and not worry about our noise bothering anyone else. It’s a mix of some flat grassy fields which where great for tents and nice wooded areas which are great for shade. There were freshly mowed spots for setting up tents. There is also a shelter which was great for setting up our stuff and cooking under when it was raining. There is well water on site if you need it. The owners daughter even built us a new fire pit while we were there. The owners are new to hip camp but are planning to add more features like a picnic table and some composting toilets which will be awesome. They directed us to some cool nearby attractions that were worth our time. Cell service wasn’t great at the bottom of the property but if you hike up the hill to the big field at the top there is decent service enough to call and text. Definitely recommend bringing your own firewood if you plan to build a fire. Also recommend trash bags, there’s no trash can on site so we just packed all our trash with us. We will be back as soon as possible.

Great place to bring dogs This ones just funnyCookingThe fields at the top of the hill backing up to Hoosier national forest

Thanks, we definitely plan to add some sort of toilet and a trash can in the future. The spigot for water is city water (not a well) sorry if that wasnt clear... More to come hopefully it'll be better next time. Appreciate you being our first campers.
