Robert was a great host. We felt very welcome! He met us near the driveway entrance and showed us to our site. We appreciated his friendliness and hospitable nature.

Robert was a very attentive and helpful host who really cares about his property and this campsite. It was a wonderfully private and clean site, tucked down a hill surrounded by trees and had everything we needed. It's the kind of place you can hear the train rolling by in the distance and the chirping of the birds.

This is our second stay here and we have a 3rd scheduled. Quiet, secluded, tucked away in the trees, and Robert is such a nice host.

Robert was a great host. He had the fire ready for us when we arrived and showed us right to the campground. He gave us tons of firewood (for a small fee), which was helpful. We would recommend his campsites!

Robert’s property was beautiful. It was the perfect North Idaho escape. My friend and I booked 2 nights, but were too cold to stay the second night, so Robert offered us a free night whenever we decide to return! We were so appreciative of that. Pine Hollow was down a steep dirt road, so drive a vehicle that could handle that if you plan to have a vehicle at your campsite. There was a lot of fire wood for us, and Robert also offered different fire starter options. Our only apprehension while staying there was coronavirus safety. When we arrived we were fully masked, but Robert was not. He explained to us that his family does not believe in the extremity of the virus... this obviously threw my friend and I off because we were coming from Seattle, and rarely see people interact without masks on. This area in Idaho, in general, seemed to ignore the existence of covid. Take that as you will!! We will definitely be returning post pandemic because of Robert’s kindness (aside from covid safety), and because of how beautiful the property was! As two college age girls, my friend and I felt extremely safe there. Happy trails!!

Robert is a wonderful host! He was flexible and friendly. He helped us get our fire started and told us about the area. He provided firewood as promised and was happy to help. However, the campsite wasn't really a campsite. If you need a place to park your van for the night, it's fine, but if you want to get away from the noise of the city, you'll need to go farther. it's surrounded by private property, so there's no opportunity for hiking. When the nearest neighbor finally shut down his big Cat, it still sounded like Hwy 95 was just over the ridge. We ended up leaving early because we weren't prepared for the cold (our fault).

This site is gorgeous - in the woods, completely isolated from the host’s property — a solid fire ring,, picnic table and plenty of wood provided. We slept in the rain with the periodic train whistle far, far away. It was heavenly. Since it was raining when we arrived, Robert built us a fire - Thank you Robert!!!

Our family really enjoyed our time at Pine Hollow. The outhouse was very clean! The camping spot was roomy. And the woodpile well stocked!
