Nice camping near the woods.
The view from the campsite was stunning with a view of a mountain peak to the south. Frankly, I wished that I could wake up to that view everyday. David greeted us upon arrival and directed us to a place to park our Truck Camper. We're very grateful that David has something so beautiful that he's willing to share. There's decent hiking on State land near by, we'll be back to explore more.
This was a great stay on my trip across the country. David welcomed me and showed me around when I arrived, but then gave me my privacy. There are places to put your tent down around the garden loop that aren't within sight of the main house, along with a firepit and a table with chairs. He also has a few trails running amongst his property, just be sure you remember where you came from and don't get lost. They interconnect and loop around so you're always close, but it can get confusing. I enjoyed my one night here and would recommend others stay if they're near Coeur De'Alene for the night.
We had such a lovely time camping here!! Very nice to have access to water and waste disposal at the site, and David was very helpful in guiding us to the perfect spot for pitching our tent. Would definitely recommend.
