Country setting off the beaten path
A level space on a horse farm away from the hustle and bustle. Electrical hookups were pretty far from the water and sewer hookups, but host was very nice and flexible and allowed us to position our travel trailer in a way that would work. Consider bringing your own extension chord. Nice playground to keep the kids busy while you cook or pack up. Overall it was just what we needed for passing through.
We loved our peaceful get away. Petting the horses, enjoying the gorgeous view of the farm, sitting by the evening fire, biking on the country roads- full hook ups and wonderful hosts! We will be back.
I couldn't have found a better place to watch this event. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating and would absolutely stay here again. It's a wonderful little corner of the world.
Terrific hosts who could not have been more gracious or accommodating. They didn't up-charge for the eclipse (and we were in the path of totality -- it was amazing); had coffee, juice, fruit, and muffins in the morning; and had good facilities available. The kids watched the horses get fed and played fetch with their dog Dylan for hours. Couldn't have picked a better spot for watching the eclipse. Close to grocery store, etc., but also in the middle of nowhere. My 6yo wants to come back!
