Worth every penny!
Austin’s place was beautiful and clean. He was very receptive to any questions I had and helped out the newbie that I am. Even though it got to be a bit noisy due to the traffic on the road, it wasn’t unbearable. Granted, I’m a heavy sleeper, so of course it wouldn’t bother me. Not sure how it would be for you light sleepers though. Regardless, for what I paid, it was totally worth it!
Austin was incredibly accommodating and has a beautiful location for campers. There was a little bit of road noise earlier in the evening, but it tapered off as it got later and I had no trouble falling asleep as a crazy light sleeper. Really beautiful location and not far from the freeway. Would absolutely recommend staying here.
Easy stop on i84.
Being in a 24' trailer, Austin's place was great for me: There was plenty of room to turn around, easy to level, and just far enough from the interstate to have a sense of calm and beauty being surrounded by farm land.
Austin answers text questions accurately and quickly. He was pleasant and accommodating.
If you're staying in a tent, the adjacent road can be noisy and busy into the evening.
Probably great for rvs...
This spot was nice to look at when I saw it in the daylight the next morning. The downsides were that it was insanely loud with all sorts of road noises and planes, I imagine which are for farming in the area. I didnt get any sleep at all. Also someone that lived in the house came home around midnight and wasn't too terribly quiet, not super loud either but door cars were shut as if no one were camping just 50 ft away sort of thing.
Great host. good value.
Thanks, Austin! Austin was very prompt and patient with replying to all my questions. The place was very easy to find. I just had a hard time seeing the hip camp sign as it was dark, but Austin said he would be putting a more noticeable sign up. There was a bit of road sound from limited traffic passing on secondary road, but not bad. Level places to put tent, with fire rings available. I guess you would say a typical barnyard sort of setting like you would have on a small farm. Good $value to crash when you are tired from driving all day and need to save$$!
