If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This place was such a magical stay. We stayed here for two night before heading into west Yellowstone with our 11 month old daughter. We all loved the grounds. The bird and rabbit area was a hit for our baby. She loved to crawl around the grass and enjoyed the scenery. It was close to heise hot springs and a great hike at cress creek nature trail. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. It rejuvenated us for the rest of our road trip.
I stayed for a weekend with my college roommates to get away for a bit and this place was so cute!!! It was a good size cabin and both it and the area around were very clean and welcoming. It’s a super good location and the host was very quick to respond to any and all questions I had. I’d highly recommend. 11/10 :)
Mislead; swap rustic for commercial
Was expecting a rustic cabin, was met with a commercial Inn that felt out of sync with our Hipcamp experience and expectations.
Amidst a long primitive camping trip, my partner and I decided to splurge (for us, 2 young budgeting travelers amidst a cross country move) on a night in a cabin with a shower and a kitchen. We found the cabin posting to appear like a nice, private wooded refuge worth the treat. It wasn’t until after our host sent us a dense message with instructions, rules and a map of a summer camp-like complex of cabins, closely lined up, that we realized how mislead we felt by the listing. Granted we made the booking with spotty cell service so we didn’t have accessibility to cross check some of the confusing details of the listing (e.g details of the kitchen vs kitchenette, the surroundings/environment). Upon arrival we found that there was little privacy save for shutting our door and blinds. Not our vibe. We felt uncomfortable and like weirdo outsiders...
To finish on a positive note; the towels provided were plush.
We stayed in moose cabin and it was absolutely wonderful. The inn grounds have tetherball, horse shoes, a cute pond with water feature, and lots of other activities. We even found bunnies. It’s down the road from the hot springs pool and a pizza place. It was quiet and clean. We loved staying here!
