Boho, whimsical woods experience
We LOVED staying at Lynn's place! She was so kind, a wonderful hostess. Not only did she upgrade us for free but she was super responsive to any questions we had while staying with her an the whole place was just a wonderful, relaxing, and inspiring experience. We would absolutely stay here again and will be telling all of our friends about it! :D
Such a special place! Beautiful and private but with nice amenities like a well-stocked communal kitchen and a fabulous crafting area in the middle of camp for kids and adults to enjoy being creative in beautiful nature.
Lynn was a wonderful hostess. What a beautiful setting. Truly something for everyone. Very romantic setting with candles and lighting. Activities for children and adults. Comfortable bedding. I will go again!!!
Great for kids!
Lynn was a very generous host, she switched our reservation to a more accommodating nest arrangement for our family with little ones. The land is beautiful and my girls (2 and 4) loved the pretty rocks and fairy houses everywhere. It was a relaxing time among the trees, and all the other guests were friendly!
A special place you can’t miss out!
Lynn and her property are both absolutely magical! You can feel the love and care that she has put into the property. I immediately felt at home here and genuinely wish I could have stayed for far longer. This spot is a sanctuary and you will feel rejuvenated and well grounded once leaving.
Trippy multidimensional retreat
It’s a good place, especially if your on a quest to find fairy’s, Sasquatch, and flying squirrels.
I didn’t see a fairy but there was some fairy dust on my beer bottle in the morning.
Lynn was cool however if you have little ones who are cautious about creatures that live in multiple dimensions, let her know in advance about your child’s reservations.
The dance floor/ craft pergola area is rad. You can hook up music via Bluetooth, have kids crafting fairy houses while other are playing board games.
Lynn set up a badminton net for our boys.
The communal kitchen is pretty neat.
I’ll finish by saying things don’t seem to be what they are on this trippy slice of land in the northern Idaho forest. Chat with the host a while and all the assumptions you made about her during your tour of the property will be carried away on the wings of flying squirrels.
Thanks for a great stay Lynn and helping me remember things aren’t always as they appear!
We rented out the whole camp for our wedding and A Wee Place in the Woods is one of the most magical places I've been. Lynn is one of the kindest and sweetest hosts I've had the pleasure of meeting, she goes above and beyond and she's become like family now. If you want to feel your soul lighten and find a home away from home, I cannot recommend this place enough.
Lynn is a fabulous host. We had an amazing time- she was super accommodating and even offered to let us rebook our second night, we had to leave early due to one of our kids getting sick. It’s a great experience and recommend it to anyone who’s interested in a non traditional camping experience!
