Magical spot on the big island!
The Orchid was AMAZING! My husband and I were only supposed to be there for 1 night and we ended up staying for 3. The land is magical, the setup is thorough and thoughtful, and everyone we interacted with was amazing. When we're back on the Big Island in the future, we will stay again!
Perfect, peaceful, beautiful
Staying at George’s farm was an absolute dream. My husband and I only booked for one night initially but ended up staying for three! The land is stunning and special - and the people that work and live there are incredibly kind. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to play with some kittens and the farm dog, Jinx. We hope to be back again for a week+ the next time we’re here!
Five stars all around!
Best spot hands down. Friendly host, nice covered camp spots, toilet and shower on site. The night we stayed there it rained all night, it was so nice having a covered area to ourselves, complete with picnic table! The place was super quiet, great to listen to the birds and frogs sing and gaze at the stars.
A must stay.
I will definitely stay again . George is very knowledgeable of the area . everyone in the farm is very helpful . Pineapples where in season that was a plus. Thanks George for hospitality.
Beautiful unique little getaway!
The Orchid was such a comfortable, cute little camp! The campsites are tucked away at the back of the farm and under canopies for added privacy and protection from the weather. Dien gave us a very warm welcome and Jynx (the farm dog) was so cute and friendly! The outdoor shower was awesome, bathroom was clean, and the kitchen was lovely! We got to have a little tour of the greenhouses and Dien offered us a pineapple to take for the road! Would definitely recommend staying here! Has everything one might need for camping, friendly people and is a super unique little spot!
