Good if you need to dry out from the rain, it’s usually hot here and it gets a bit windy at times. Fantastic view of the ocean. Nearby attractions include: Kula Kai Caverns where you can explore 1000 year old lava tubes, South Point, Green Sand beach and Punaluu beach (go here to see all the turtles!) Old lava tubes scattered about nearby and occasional wild goat sightings. It it next to a paved road with very little traffic. Take an evening sunset stroll unobstructed by civilization You will have about an acre to yourselves on a cement pad or camp underneath the trees. Our place is a work in progress but I’ll accommodate you to make your stay enjoyable. When coming from Hilo side bypass the fist road Google maps sends you to has a gate. Continue on the highway to the next road and turn down it instead.. Text us for more info.

Super fun spot! Sally Ann is a great host who met us when we arrived. Place was safe and great view of stars at night. Secluded beach was exactly that- we were the only ones on it all day!

This is a really neat property! Camping is pretty basic (flat gravel, a few trees but mostly exposed). There is a shared kitchen space if you want to use it. Sally was a friendly and relaxed host who welcomed us and shared some suggestions for things to do in the area. Great for a stopover on your way to the volcanoes and/or South Point.
