Very interesting spot. You are in the middle of a jungle farm. So no real hikes or much you can do besides relax and bird watch (which can be a good thing). Outhouse toilet - no running water or electricity - bring a portable USB battery if you want to operate the lights. Felt a little weird being so isolated at night in the jungle surrounded by glass windows.
Amazing place in the jungle!
Nicole’s jungle farm was such a lovely experience! So private, wild, and beautiful, with a lanai with 2 hammocks looking out at a canopy of trees and organic fruits and veggies! We’d love to return!
Dreamy hawaiian jungle!
The Hawaiian jungle escape is sooo dreamy! A perfect spot to disconnect, and be in tune with the Hawaiian landscape. The simplicity of just being in a space that offers so much to explore makes this a must do campsite. Park by the yellow arrow, and you’ll be just fine with entering & leaving property.
Wouldn’t utilize the building itself as it was not maintained and had bugs / giant spiders inside...but it is a beautiful site. We ended up camping in our tent on the porch and had a great experience (with a visit from a friendly peacock!)
Host was very friendly and easy to interact with. Thanks!
Perfect stay on the road to hana
This was an out of this world experience. I picked this place because it shorten our commute to Road to Hana(50 mins), staying here made it so easy to explore. There are a lot of locations to explore near the site so you don't have to go super far. Do your research before your stay on what you want to do before you stay at the site. The property it self its adventure so make sure you walk around and say hello to the peacocks. Everything you need might be there already but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Host was very responsive and was very detailed on how to get there.
This place is super remote. Very private. Amazing lush tropical vegetation surrounding the hut. The road to the bottom is not as scary/difficult as it sounds in the listing but it was pretty dry when we visited. If it was very wet, it could be difficult. We managed in a Subaru Forester AWD.
There are bugs. Spiders and mosquitoes to name a few. There was also a beautiful peacock that hung around the hut while we were there. He was loud but fascinating to watch.
There are no locks on the doors to the hut, so don’t expect that to be an option. There are lights hung but they are USB powered and need a battery pack. Bring one (or 4) if you want to use them.
A jungle dream 🌴
This hidden oasis was the jungle dream I’ve always hoped for and envisioned. A beautiful and isolated bungalow with no electricity or running water requiring very easy landmark type instructions to get there made the adventure mor exciting. We were greeted by an incredible peacock that seems to wander the grounds comfortably our whole night and next day. My boyfriend and I ended our waterfall swims and Hana exploring with homemade food and wine over Nicole’s bonfire pit and I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much Nicole for sharing your absolute jungle gem. Can’t wait to come back 🌺💗
