We had a wonderful visit to this peaceful camping area. The weather was interesting but the wind and rain didn’t dampen our spirits. Fortunately the sky cleared whilst we cooked and hiked, highly recommend walking to Pololu trail down to the beach. The campsite is for one camping group only so very private and we definitely plan of visiting again, even though we live just up the road in Waimea. Mahalo David, Aloha.
Beautiful, peaceful, rustic stay!
Gorgeous and peaceful stay here. David is wonderful and recommended the lookout and hike through Pololu valley for sunrise, which began our marathon vacation of chasing sunrises and sunsets (also highly recommended). We would absolutely stay here again, you should too!
The campsite was beautiful surrounded by lush grass and tropical foliage. Our host had provided us with fresh fruit ands cold water upon our arrival. This is a working farm and it was fascinating to see it in action. Our host, David was very hospitable. He was familiar with the area and had suggestions for our stay. It was peaceful and we had a restful stay under the stars.
David was very welcoming. It’s an easy check in/checkout process. We just met David at the gate and followed him to our campsite. David suggested visiting Pololu Valley lookout near by (worth it). He suggested Spencer Beach (park far left and 1/2mile hike to a smaller beach) also wonderful. We couldn’t resist the “add on” of local fruit to the reservation. Don’t miss it. The property is gorgeous and the trip there was spectacular. It’s a great choice if you’re planning on coming to this part of the island.
Beautiful, quiet, peaceful campsite
This place is awesome! So quiet and peaceful. David was super friendly and gave us a coconut on our arrival! The spot is decked out with a picnic table, chairs, outhouse, water jug, clothesline and nearby stream to explore! The sunset was beautiful looking back over the farm and we would definitely revisit this spot if we make it back to the island! Truly a little peace of paradise!
