Sweet peaceful place!
This was our first HIpCamp and the host was beyond amazing to work with. I messed up my booking and he was patient with my error and help resolve it! The communication prior to the visit was excellent and directions were easy.
If you visit May/June you’ll have the opportunity to pick berries (thus the name of the HIpCamp) but don’t just come for the berries, come for the sense of peace, the frogs, the birds and the fireflies.
Thank you Sweet Berry Orchard!!!
Beautiful place to stay right off of interstate 85. Tom was there to greet us when we arrived. He gave us a couple of options for setup, and even provided a 30 amp extension cord for us so that we could be in a better location. They had both electricity and water available even though Hipcamp only listed water. They also had a fire pit that they allowed us to use. There is an Ingles grocery store and couple of truck stops near by if you need anything. The Loves has a dump station making it convenient to dump your tanks before you get back on the interstate. We enjoyed our weekend and look forward to staying again in the future.
If your looking for a beautiful, relaxing camping experience then this is your place. Campsite is run by a very nice couple. Received a gift of homemade muffins on our departure, they were amazing. Will definitely go again.!!
Pleasant hidden oasis
The camp site is located just off of highway 85 so it is very convenient as a pit stop. But the setting on 17 acres farm is so pretty that it could also justify a trip on its own. The host was very hospitable and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay (including convenient fire ring and enough wood to last us all night). The only negative was local road that could be quite noisy before 10-11pm, but after that it dies down. Everything considered, I highly recommend.
This was the perfect stop for us. We pulled into a sweet wooded area of this orchard / farm and fest so welcomed and safe. Tom greeted us, showed us our spot, gifted us warm fresh berry muffins Leigh made, and closed the gate. Perfect Hipcamp experience.
