My dogs and I spent several wonderfully peaceful days and nights by the lake. If you qre looking for minimal human interaction, the sounds of nature all around you and amazing sunrise views I highly recommend Abundance Point.
Jeanne was absolutely amazing. Great communication from her from the get go. She actually met us to show us the location. The site was super remote, nice and level area to part my 30’ travel trailer. The family and I enjoyed a perfect weekend in the woods. The fishing was great as well. We caught good size catfish off the dock. We will for sure be heading back down in the fall to enjoy a cool morning next to the water. Thanks again Jeanne!!!!!
This place is AMAZING!!! We had a wonderful time fishing, kayaking, and just relaxing by the lake. It was so peaceful, and the sites are far enough apart that they are very private. Jeanne was a great host and made checking in very simple.
A step back in time
The host was wonderful and responsive the entire time, she even met me out on the road and led us to our site. The property is a step back in time, an old abandoned campground with no amenities other than trash disposal. Situated on a peninsula, so that every site is a good one. I cannot wait to see how the property evolves with new owners. There is a lot of potential. Come now while it’s cheap.
Escape to nowhere
Jeanne was very attentive and welcoming. She reached out to us prior to our arrival and was there to greet us and show us to our site. She told us some history of her land(abandoned camp ground) and her vision going forward.
Our site (3) had a walkway directly to the water, however there wasn't a table at our site (no big deal, we brought one) and there wasn't a lot of flat space for a tent, table etc.
It is very rustic which is something we love and we weren't crowded by other sites. We are excited to see how the improvements turn out.
The lake was wonderful and we caught a couple of fish and even floated on lounge chairs.
The cell service was intermittent at best and it's best to make sure you have all your supplies before you arrive as there isn't anything close by.
We look forward to camping here again!
