A blessing and connection to source
My stay at Lakeside Paradise & Great Sunsets was beyond expectation. We were a group of 4 ladies seeking a primitive site to host a spiritual connection to Mother Gaia and The Most High and bond together as women. Upon arrival I was given a tour of the grounds and was able to choose my site- We had a huge site-on the water secluded in the trees with access to a short hiking trail that lead to a most perfect granite mountain top when we did our mediations, yoga, connected to all that is and all that was created! It was breath taking and absolutely perfect for our intentions!
The owner went above and beyond in assisting me with my hammock tent- as the trees in our site were too far apart- he brought all that was needed and secured my hammock for my 3 day stay. Bill and Bo were so helpful, attentive and just a joy to commune with.
Lakeside Paradise & Great Sunsets was beyond expectation! And the sunsets were spectacular! Our sunrises were breathtaking as well. The ladies rooms have a hot shower too!
Nice spot for a picnic or camping
Lovely place. Quite and full on nature, yet close to everything. There are electricity sockets, pretty fine (for camp ground) restrooms. The lake is amazing, especially on Sunrise.
Great lake spot
Great camping and hospitality. They helped us pick out the best spot on the lake. Then electrical outlet was having issues and they came and fixed within 15 minutes. We are definitely coming back. Hopefully the spot we had is available again when we return.
This place is heaven . We come every year and enjoy it so much . Camping right on the lake is an amazing way to enjoy a fall weekend . The place snd facilities are perfect for us
Got text at 10 am about my ETA. Reply at 2 pm once I got my ETA. Text stated it would be 8 pm ETA. No response. No one at camp site. Gate locked , called number in gate leafy two message. Texted ETA text twice. Call number on confirmation email. Lady replied I sold that… so information on confirmation email was incorrect.
Very sad… at that point I sleep in a parking lot down the street.
Perfect camping trip!
We recently stayed at Brooks Lake for a couple days and it was absolutely perfect! Our host Brad and his son were very friendly and very helpful during the entire stay. Brooks Lake has everything you could want in camping from fishing, boating to campfires and a little hike to part of Stone Mountain! I will be coming back, again thank you to our hosts for an amazing time!
Peaceful and beautiful hidden gem
This was our first trip in our new camper. We LOVED the campground. It was peaceful, private and beautiful. It had bathroom and very nice shower which we were grateful to have! Kade was amazing and very kind. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful place to stay!
This was such a wonderful place for a long weekend. The dogs loved to swim and there were several places away from other so we felt a good sense of privacy. The host and his son were very attentive when we needed something! I would recommend this to any one and we are already planning our next trip back in a few weeks!
Me and my friend are young ladies, this was our first trip independently and it felt super safe! The hosts were very kind and left us alone unless we needed something.
