Pull your RV or tents right up and start fishing in the pond! You'll have plenty of room with almost half an acre to spend your time enjoying nature. Fish from your porch, enjoy a hot shower, have a fire, and relax.

About the property

Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch. The property is also home to several sheep and Pency the Llama.

Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees.

Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando.

A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing!

Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience.

Our neighbors, JG Ranch, offers U- Pick Fruit and Vegetables or a great selection of local harvest at their roadside stand.

This 10-acre property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires together out there.

I've recently moved back home with my own family and as much as we enjoy the land for ourselves we'd love to share it. Any profit from hosting campers will help us maintain our sustainable farm that we're hoping to expand onto Smokey Acres.

Awesome site right on the pond with full utilities. Waking up by the pond was so peaceful and it really added an extra element to set this site over the top. The site was clean and private, with plenty of space for us and our dogs to spread out and relax. The hosts are fantastic!

Absolutely loved the tranquility of our stay. The kids loved the bass pond. If you’re a “glamper” in need of amenities this may not be the spot for you. But we loved it.

Great place to camp whether you’re in a tent or camper! Plenty of space for a 5th wheel! The road is a little rocky to get to the site, just take it slow. Picnic tables and fire pit were available. There is a bathroom and shower that were clean.l even though the listing doesn’t state that there is a shower. Dry fire wood was available also for a small donation and the hook ups all worked properly. The owner was welcoming and helpful when it came to finding the place. If you forget anything there is a Walmart, Lowe’s, and gas station within a few miles. The pond had lots of bass so if you like to fish definitely bring a pole! I have nothing, but good things to say about this place and will be going back soon!

Pretty chill spot, great place for kids and bring the Zebco for the pond. The driveway is a little rough so just take your time.

This place was nice and charming. The owner were good people and have done a good job. Private and yet close to just about everything within a 5-10 mins. Kids had a blast climbing trees and we fished for catfish in the pond. Caught two! ;) If you are working and RVing, you’ll need a strong Jetpack. Service is iffy, but was able to stay on top of emails. But Panera Bread isn’t too far if you need good speeds for a few hours.

I’d definitely stay again.

We had a relaxing weekend at our campsite! We highlight recommend this well kept peaceful site on this beautiful property. There was plenty of wildlife and fish in the pond. The ranch next door had sheep, cows, and goats that would visit during the day. Our site had a great place to make a fire and have s'mores and even a picnic table. There was a flushable toilet and place to take a hot shower. The host met us and showed us around upon arrival and even provide wood the first night. We will definitely be back.
