Lee Road Campsite
We love spending time on Chas’ land. The views are beautiful and Chas is an excellent host. This is our 5th trip to the property and we will continue to go back.

Lee Road Campsite
So cool, and perfect for camping!
We loved staying here, and would love to return! Beautiful views, the setup was perfect. Our tent had great shelter from the wind, and we had plenty of room to park and enjoy ourselves. Chas’ land was so incredibly beautiful and nicely organized. We loved our brief tour of the various structures he had built— inspiring off-grid builds. The composting toilet was pristine and clean and the whole room was actually lovely to be in. He did a great job juxtaposing modern comfort with rugged camping. Chas was communicative and friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit his spot again. We felt safe and loved the views of the rounded stacked rocks, conifers, and sunset/sunrise. Book with absolute confidence! Beautiful and cared for camping property. Great work, Chas— thanks for having us!

Blue Moon Cabin
A cozy stay at the Blue Moon Cabin
Staying at the Blue Moon cabin was awesome! My boyfriend and I decided to plan a last minute weekend trip up to Medicine Bow Routt National Forest and found the listing on HipCamp for this spot. It was great that there were amenities we could add on - the camping stove was perfect for us to cook our own meal outside and enjoy time at the cabin. Everything was neat and clean inside and even the compost toilet was easy to use. We really enjoyed exploring the rock formations around the area too and will definitely be coming back sometime soon!
