Peaceful Shaded Cottage Garden
Quiet & friendly….+🐔 🐔🐔
The bougainvillea were a cheery entrance to our temporary home. Alan was ready to greet us with a smile and ran through the spot & connections. Power & water. 👏🏻 Met Erica later, both amiable hosts to chat with.
They’ve had no rain up here for ages so expect it to be dry but with a sand mat down it was easy and plenty of shade from trees. Anyway the 3 hens greeted us too and happily scratched around us & very well mannered fowl - loved them.
Lovely quiet peaceful spot and for us a convenient distance just out of the main town for us to leave the van safely whilst both doing a top up of supplies before heading North plus equally spending time sightseeing Geraldton.

Peaceful Shaded Cottage Garden
Great quiet stop
Great private stay, a little out of Geraldton (9min drive) but towards Ellendale pool side of Geraldton. Kids loved the chooks. Thanks for having us Erica.

Very hospitable and friendly hosts. Friendly dogs and chicken around. The latter may be a little too friendly if you want to eat outside as they jump on tables and chairs to join in

Peaceful Shaded Cottage Garden
Charming, quirky... Perfect!
Erica & Alan's property feels like you're a million miles from town. It's got all the charm and character you could want, with plenty of the space to spread your wings. The more you look, the more you'll find with little trinkets and hidden gems scattered throughout. Our 25ft van got in with ease. The real winner though is Erica & Alan themselves. Their communication was easy and helpful, while their love for the property and the love for their animals shines through. We hung out in their garden with them for a couple of hours sharing stories, while our kids adored their pups - Cheeky & Poppy - and chasing the chickens around. We were gifted some free range eggs from "Chook One", the main hen of the property. I cannot recommend this place enough, and you'll only 5mins from the centre of town! Big thank you Erica & Alan!
