Trigwell is a small rural location 256 km from Perth. We have a lovely peaceful working farm of 500 acres to explore with undulating hills with horses, cattle, sheep, and plenty of wildlife. There is a good chance of them joining you too! Boyup Brook is just down the road with a sporting club, pool, museum, great little shops, and a local IGA. There is Trigwell Reserve and Haddleston Springs on our doorstep, so many walk trails and things to explore. Harvey Dickson rodeo and the Boyup Brook country music festival is a great drawcard every year. We offer two options to enjoy this beautiful place: A camping area, and a cottage. Plenty of room to set up camp in the camping area of the proeprty, so choose when you get here. Sit around a campfire (restrictions for fire season, of course) watch a gorgeous sunset, and enjoy a BBQ with a drink in hand. No toilet for campers, so you'll need to be self-sufficient with your own camp toilet and take all waste with you when you leave. The cottage is cute and rustic, and has everything you need for a comfortable farm stay. The Blackwood River is also very close to our place, and Lake Towerrinning is an amazing place to swim , paddle or ski ( approx 20km )At Trigwell Bridge you have access to the riverside which is great for canoeing through to Boyup Brook. Dogs are welcome (campsite only, possibly cottage on request) but please keep them on leash at all times. Drinking water is available on request and firewood is provided for free. Please note there is approximately 25kms of gravel road . If you come in Boyup Brook way thru to Dinninup , there's only a couple of km. Also there is a total fire ban at the moment and the dam is unsuitable to swim in af present. Hope you love our place as much as we do!

Transport to the Munda Biddi or Bibbulman Track is available. Camp fires in season (Usually May to September) and weather permitting. Breakfast Basket or BBQ packs available thee are cook your own we supply all the ingredients and tools

We do provide rubbish disposal and your pets are welcome but we do ask that you clean up after them. The nearest dump point for waste disposal and potable water is at the Northcliffe Visitor Centre. Winnejup View

Our farm consists of 180 acres and is home to a mob of sheep and at times, some of our Angus cows and calves. The camp sites are all secluded from each other and have their own view to the North over the hills of Winnejup. Guests can have a camp fire when burning restrictions permit but fire wood will need to be brought in by campers. During winter we offer truffle hunting tours at our other farm 8 kms away where guests can see truffle dog Bonnie working and can purchase truffle direct from the farm. The Blackwood River is a short 3 km drive away where the Winnejup bridge picnic spot is a great place to spend the day swimming or kayaking. There are numerous hiking or mountain biking trails that start 5 kms away at the Winnejup road - Elwins road intersection and run through the forrest. Throughout the year there are various farm jobs which guests are welcome to participate if they wish. Our grass fed Angus beef and lamb can be purchased from our online shop Blackwoodvalleyfinefoods.com.au where the produce is delivered to Perth.
