Amazing find
Rex and Janet are fantastic hosts. Settled on a stunning property, close to town and beautiful walking trails. Having the option of a drink watching the sunshine at their vineyard is just the cherry on top. Highly recommended.

Warm & Welcome Farm Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our night camping at Downderry Winery & Farm. The hosts were warm and welcoming. We enjoyed meeting the alpaca's, friendly doggo and a wine tasting with Jan.

Lovely little vineyard camp
Jan and Rex are fantastic hosts. Warm, hospitable and accommodating. There's a good selection of relatively flat pitches, most that look over the vineyard or pastoral land with roaming alpacas. There are toilets accessible at all hours which is a nice bonus for a Hipcamp. Dropping in for a wine tasting is a must. There's a delicious selection and the info about both the wine and the journey Jan and Rex have been on, the ups and the downs of dealing with the WA climate, was a fascinating insight into winemaking. Rex is just branching out into beers and ciders so be sure to give them a go too. The ginger beer was a favourite of mine. We'll be back, assuming we're welcome after our dog got a little excited by an alpaca fight in the next field 🤣.
