Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
Want to see 5 star panoramic views of the Appalachian Mountains? This ultra safe, ultra private property is located only 10 minutes off interstate 77. There is only one farm past ours so traffic is very minimal. Plenty of room to do what you and your pets want to do while exploring on our 60 acres. Come enjoy the view and recharge and relax in peace and quiet. The sun rises up behind the view and lets you see just a little further. It is magical and one of the best things this mountain has to offer. It will not disappoint. We can accommodate up to a 35ft RV. The best part is no long walk for the best views! You can park at the campsites and camp on flat ground. Each campsite features a bench and a camp cooktop. Nothing is needed to use the cook tops other than a campfire. The area has many parks, rivers and trails for fly fishing, kayaking, biking, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, and photography, etc. View stars as only those miles away from any light can experience. The crickets and whippoorwills will sing you to sleep. Google link, trail map, and campsite location map will be emailed the day of arrival. Mountaintop Retreat Campsite
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at mountaintop retreat. When we arrived our tent broke and Tony very kindly offered to let us borrow a tent but we opted to sleep in our cars because it was snowing/raining. The view is beautiful and the site was really nice and well maintained. Our only concern was that the firewood we bought was kept uncovered and was wet so we had a hard time with that. The toilet could have been a little cleaner but it wasn’t bad at all. There is a very friendly dog, Hank, that came to our camp a few times to visit. He was very sweet but a little jumpy and tried to get into our tents and cars, We are all dog people so it wasn’t a huge issue for us but a dog we didn’t know jumping on us was a little concerning at first. We also loved having the swing at our site! Once the weather cleared up the view of the stars was amazing!

Peace and quiet with a view
We just stayed 1 night on our way home so we arrived late in the day. There was a snow squall at the time so it was a little sketchy finding a spot for a large truck and travel trailer. We ended up setting up near the cabins and hunkered down. Tony is a great communicator and will give you great directions. The campground is going to be really nice when finished.

Awesome place. Amazing views. Nice proximity to New River Gorge for exploring. The local brewery was very good, too. Clean port a potty. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

My boyfriend and I tent camped this past weekend at this property. It was absolutely gorgeous. We will be back again with our kiddo sometime this year. Everything was super easy to fund and all of the sites are labeled really well.
