Camp at your own private oasis! Welcome to the Lookout at Mayfield Lake, a nine acre private retreat with panoramic views of Mayfield Lake. The site includes a 23' stationary Airstream (2008 era), a 16' dome, six Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, outdoor barbecue, outdoor shower, laundry, and is fully fenced. The site is completely private and surrounded by abundant wildlife including a pair of eagles that frequent the property. Perennial gardens surround the property. Lake access <1 mile away.Welcome to The Lookout at Mayfield Lake! A nine acre private glamping retreat perfect for getwaways and get-togethers. Take-in breathtaking views of the lake from multiple seating and dining areas and flexible outdoor living space. There's two fenced areas for privacy, including one fully fenced area for dogs. The Lookout is less than one mile from lake access while serving as a basecamp to limitless outdoor activities. The Airstream, Spud, comes packed with everything you'll need from bedding to cookware. The site also includes a 16' all-weather dome to extend the outdoor living space. For 2024 camping season we've added an outdoor shower, propane chiminea firepit and seating area, and on-site laundry. The property: the site includes several seating areas to capture the views of lake. There's two firepits: one massive wood burning boulder firepit, and another propane chiminea firepit to use during burn restrictions. Other site amenities include a state park style charcoal grill, picnic table, a cedar outdoor shower, on-site laundry with a washer and dryer, and vegetable garden beds. Sleeping: the Airstream has two beds and can sleep three via a folding dinette that turns to a queen bed and a full size bed from the main area bench. Bedding includes Pendleton quilts, blankets and cotton bed sheets; there's also an extra camp mattress in the shower for the main bed. There's a folding outdoor daybed in the dome that can also be used for sleeping and sleeps one comfortably. The site also includes space for additional tent camping. Airstream features: fridge/freezer, sink, bathroom including full-size shower, cooking utensils, cookware, drinkware, two burner stovetop, hot plate, toaster, keurig maker and kcups The dome: the dome is set-up as a living space including a seating area and two bistro table sets. There's a folding outdoor daybed that can also be used for sleeping. The dome overlooks the lake and is perfect for yoga, meditation, stargazing and bug-free dining. Lake access: there’s a local put-in for kayaks and fishing directly below the property (.5 miles) as well as a public boat launch and park at the Ike Kinswa State Park (.8 miles). The park also features a public swim area and hiking trails. Rife Lake is about 15 min from the property. Cell service: the property has decent coverage for most carriers Additional site details: the site sits on a bluff overlooking Mayfield Lake with areas of steep slopes. Trails and paths are constructed of gravel and crushed rock. The Lookout is located in the scenic White Pass byway, in the heart of Washington's Lakes District, surrounded by Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams. Overlooking Mayfield Lake, the property is minutes to the Cowlitz River, Tilton River and Riffe Lake.

It was a really nice location. The view is exactly as it shows in the pics- which is gorgeous. Our favorite part was the area being fenced off so the dogs could roam. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time! The view is beautiful and the dome was so unique and offered a really cool place to relax and drink our morning coffee. We would definitely recommend Spud to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with easy access to the lakes.

Highly stocked, incredibly close to recreation, every detail thoughtfully covered glamping experience. Spud was perfect with all our fav brands and products curated to make the experience top notch. The view was amazing. The gardens were lovey and the space was perfect for groups. We all wished we brought our dogs after seeing the attention they paid in making a special space for them also!

Our time at this property was wonderful. The airstream was well stocked and it was awesome to have the living room space inside the dome. I echo others feedback that the property is set up well to accommodate dogs.
