Ocean Shores is known as a small charming coastal community with an abundance of recreational and cultural activities. It is also surrounded by miles of sandy beaches on the Pacific Ocean as well as Grays Harbor. Its 23 miles of inter-connected canals and lakes charm you with their breathtaking views. Surrounded by trees and vegetation you will have all the privacy you seek as you are the only campers here. This is a very large space to share with those of your choosing. There are no "lights out" or "quiet times" for you to worry about. Large open space for camping with friends and family to gather and enjoy each others company.  Dogs are able to be leash free and enjoy the space as well. Only a ten min private walk to the ocean through the dunes to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, kite flying, picnics on the beach, day camping, amazing sunsets and so much more. Rubber boots (maybe some waders, depending on the winter) are recommended for the hike to the beach during the winter months (November-May) as you will have a small trek through seasonal wet lands. You may also access the beach/ocean by vehicle just a few minutes away in town.  You will be located between the Quinault Casino and the City of Ocean Shores where you can enjoy all the wonderful activities there is to offer.  If kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding is what you are seeking, many are unaware of the 23 miles of scenic canals in the City of Ocean Shores.  You may also fish for bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch and bluegill sunfish in these waterways.   I hear there are a couple little Islands to explore as well.  What a hidden treasure! There are three launch sites available we can give if needed.  And if you left something at home, sitting there thinking he was going to grab it (haha) no worries, you more than likely can grab it in town. The Ace hardware is amazing!  There is an Arcade, golf, miniature golf, go carts, water go carts, bowling, horseback rentals (seasonal) for the beach, electric bike rentals, scooter rentals and so many more activities for you to enjoy.  A wonderful place where memories are made.Enjoy serene privacy surrounded by trees and vegetation with a large open space perfect for camping with family and friends. Free from 'lights out" or "quiet times",  you can relax and enjoy the company of the people you love the most. Just a short 10-minute private walk to the ocean through beautiful expansive dunes where you can enjoy the sandy beach, fly kites, day camp, host a picnic, enjoy the sunset, and so much more.        • Our campsite is dog friendly, where they can roam free without a leash to sniff till their hearts are content.      • Rubber boots are highly advised during the winter months (November-May) as a trek to the beach requires a trek through the seasonal wetlands.      • Ocean Shores allows beach access by a vehicle at certain locations. Access is provided in town just minutes away.      •Close to Quinault Casino for some fun.      •You can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding in the 23 miles of scenic canals in Ocean Shores.     In the City of Ocean Shores, you can enjoy seemingly endless activities from the local arcades, go-kart racing, electric bike or scooter rentals, horseback riding and rentals, bowling, miniature golf, and so much more. There's something in town for everyone to enjoy.  Camping at our Coastal Family Hideaway can provide you with a beautiful place where you can relax and create lasting memories for years to come.

We had an amazing stay here! Totally private, clean with plenty of room. The long driveway is cleared so we were able to get out trailer through with no issues. Suzanne was very prompt and detailed with directions and answering any questions we had. We will definitely be staying here again.

Enjoy alone or bring the whole fam!
By far the best place we’ve been. So peaceful, no people in sight. You have the whole property to yourself. We will definitely be back. Shannon our host was great at communication and responded right away. There is a metal table with chairs and a really nice fire pit. So many little spots to explore on property. We were unable to get to the coast so I can’t review that part. Since we went in November the trail was flooded, but the host did inform us of this.

Amazingly quiet and private camping
We really loved this camp. The long driveway with a lockable gate keeps the space completely private. Its a short walk out to the dunes and the beach. The port a potty available is so clean! This would be an excellent space for a bigger group of family too.

Suzanne's campsite was amazing! It was a private and secure location, with it's own trail that leads right into the Pacific Ocean! The campsite was large and had a convenient out bathroom available. lol Suzanne was friendly and responsive host, and I would highly recommend their campsite to anyone looking for a secluded adventure in the Pacific NW!

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we absolutely loved it! I previously only had experience at national camp grounds, so this was a real treat for us. It was quiet and secluded, our dogs roamed off leash the entire time, and there was so much room for games and activities. I loved the security of the gated/locked fence and the long gravel driveway to the campsite. The short walk on the path down to the ocean was just beautiful and it was our favorite part. This campsite truly is your own little oasis. Just a small heads up, the dirt/gravel they used to level the ground will cake on to every inch of you/your car/dogs and doesn’t allow for stakes to stay in the ground in some areas. Obviously you’ll get dirty, we’re camping after all. Just bring more clothes than you think you’ll need!! Amazing campground all around, we will definitely be back.
