Such a great rustic spot to relax. Fire pit is great for large fires in the winter. Michael is an amazing host.!!

Awesome!
Awesome location! Awesome property! Right by the water! Michael is a great host and let us use his kayak and paddle board to go and see the beautiful mountains in the hood canal ! The trailer is awesome and we played cards at the table since there was a burn ban. Great spot!

My friend’s and I loved staying here. We were able to kayak and SUP both days and absolutely loved it. Make sure to go during low tide and see all the sea stars!

This is my fifth Hipcamp, and it was the best one! Michael is a fabulous host and his property met all of our needs, and then some..
Highlights:
Lots of space, great amenities, fairly private and welcoming host!
Mister Trailer made it so easy for us to camp, but not have pack everything up. Michael’s camper is adorable, and all linens provided. There is an amazing 3 burner standing stove, refrigerator, pots, pans and dishes, along with most utensils. There is handmade benches around the fire pit (during non burn bans), an extra long picnic table, and lots of extra chairs, which are under a large canopy. He also provides a portable shower and you have access to hot water! At night, there are globe lights draped around the camper.
With all of these great things, best part is the location to the water. Right around the corner is a boat ramp and access to hood canal. Lots of birds, shells and sea life! This hipcamp is for those paddlers and sea lovers. Highly recommend.
For those who are sound sensitive, there is rooster couple doors down. He didn’t have a regular pattern, and he didn’t bother me .

Well-kept site with water access
As a host, Michael was fabulous. He was responsive, friendly, and attentive to details. We're used to camping in state/national parks, where amenities are basic, so having a large cooking area, hot water from a tap, an outdoor "shower," and a hammock (my kids' favorite activity!) seemed luxurious. We loved the close access to the inlet, where the water was calm enough for my kids to feel comfortable on kayaks and SUPs, and we loved hanging out at the spit along the Hood Canal. Felt like we had our own private beach!
The only downside for us was that we didn't particularly love feeling like we were in a residential area, although the neighbors all kept to themselves. However, the neighbor across the street was cleaning out their large garage all weekend, which included using a blower or something loud during the day. It wasn't annoying, but just didn't feel like the camping vibe that we're used to.
The general location isn't really close to any towns, which is great if you just want to be on the water or at the campsite all weekend. But for us, we needed more to do since a burn ban meant no campfires, and one of the days we were there was cool and drizzly (not ideal for being on the beach/water). We opted to drive 50 minutes to Port Townsend for a change of scenery.
Overall, a lovely spot when the weather is ideal for being on the water/the beach or if you just want to relax in a neighborhood campsite environment. And, like I said before, the host is fabulous!

This is a sweet spot! We used the outdoor grill and enjoyed eating dinner inside the trailer. Plenty of cookware, dishes and fresh water available. A very short walk to Dabob Bay.
